Crochet Samai Rangoli with Flower Motives

 

Hello friends,

Let's make this beautiful Samai Rangoli or Candle Stand Decorater. 

I used Vardhaman Millenium yarn for this and hook 3.5 mm. It's inner diameter is 4" and outer 10". Weight 34 gm.

PATTERN: With Yellow yarn make,

R1: dc12 in magic loop, cl, BO. (12) (First dc means ch3). Join red yarn at any stitch.

R2: (5dc-popcorn, ch2) 12 times, cl. BO. Join green yarn at any ch2-sp.

R3: (dc4 in ch2-sp, ch1) 12 times, cl.

Make another motif in the same manner only don't complete third round, (dc4 in ch2-sp, ch1) 9 times, then we have to join two motives with each other. 

Join at next ch1-sp then make 4dc in next ch2-sp again join in next ch1-sp, complete last dc4 in ch2-sp, ch1, cl and BO.

Similarly join third motif skipping two ch1-spaces from inside. Thus join 6 motives, while joining last motif, join it with 6th motif and first motif both as shown in video.

BORDER: In ch1-sp join green yarn or Zari cord if you want.

ch1, sc1 in same st, sc1 on two dc-sts, [in ch1-sp make (sc1, ch3-picot, sc1), skip next dc-st, sc1 in 3 dc-sts] rep till end, cl, BO.

The beautiful Round Decorator is ready. Either use it to decorate Candle Holder or decorate Samai.
