Kids have their own world. They play Bhatukali (pretend to be the members of family, having kitchen, making lunch, dinner. Their dolls are kids in the home they play with them, they take them to school, to doctor and what not). They want to bring sweets for their dolls. So I made these candies as a toy for kids.
You can also use them as home decorative piece. It looks beautiful. Though I love to make more, due to time constrain, I could not. BUt my friends complete my wish and send me photos.
Luyajin one of my friend and the subecriber of my youtube channel made such candies and beautifully used them for home decor.
Pujita another friend and subscriber of my channel also used them as home decor so beautifully.
Pattern:
Take any two contrast colours, we have to make alternate rows by these two colours.
R1: In a magic loop make ch1, sc 6 with pink, close the loop then while closing by sl st join another colour white.
R2: ch1, sc2 in each st, cl and take first colour,
R3: ch1, (sc1 in one st, sc2 in next st) 6 times, cl, (18 sts).Change colour alternately.
R4: ch1, sc 1 in each st, cl.
R5 to R9 repeat round 4 so that there are 4 pink strips.

My new creation is this S-shaped table mat.
Pattern:
Yarn used Magenta, Green and yellow in 4 ply. Crochet hook 3.5 mm.
Length 24: width 14” weight 80 gm.
Flower:
Make ring of ch6.
R1: tr 32 in ring, cl (32 sts) (first tr means ch4)
R2: ch1, sc 1 in each st, cl.
R3: Join yellow yarn in any st, [ch5, db tr 1 at base st, (loop formed)
ch5, sl st in 3rd ch, dc 10 on db tr side of loop, sc 1 in next st] rep 32 times, lastly join at first st, get the st on back side.
R4: sl st 5 till the join of ch5 and db tr (edge of initial loop), sc 1 there, [ch2, sc 1 in edge of next initial loop] rep till end.
Make two such flowers.
Green Part:
Join green yarn at any ch1-loop
Row: 1: ch1, sc 1 in same st, (ch3, sc 1 in ch1-picot of next loop) rep till end.
R2: shell in first st, (shell means (dc2, ch2, dc2) in the same st, [ch2, skip next ch3-sp, shell in next ch3-sp] rep till end.
R3: sl st till ch2-sp of first shell, [shell on shell, ch2, sc 1 in ch2-sp, ch2] rep,
R4: [ shell on shell, ch3, sc1 on previous sc-st, ch3] rep.
R5: sl st till ch2-sp of shell, sc 1 there, [ ch7, sc 1 at ch2-sp of next shell] rep
R6: dc11 in each ch7-sp.
R7: shell on first st, [ch2, shell in the joint of two 11dcs group, ch2, shell on 6th st (out of 11dc)] rep
(last shell will be on last st)
R8: as row 3.
R9: as row 4.
Repeat these 9 rows for other flower also.
Join two pieces at 2 points and fill the gap (shown in next picture) with ch7 and dc11 on that.
Border: with brown and yellow.
Join brown yarn at ch2-sp of first top shell.
R1: sc 1 in same st,( ch7, sc 1 in ch2-sp of next shell) rep, BO.
R2: Join same yarn to work on RS, ch2, hdc 7 in each gap.
R3: by yellow: sc1 in first st, hdc 1 in first st including green row below, sc1 in next st, [skip 2 sts, (dc 1 in next, ch3, sc 1 in dc at top) 6 times, skip 2 sts, sc 1 in next, long hdc 1 in one row below on green st, sc 1 in next] repeat till end.
Make similar border on other side also.
The beautiful S-shaped table mat is ready as in fig 1.

After making all vegetables and so many fruits in last two months, I turned myself to a very popular crochet item that is doily. I had different types of yarn like fur yarn, eyelash yarn which I had not used since so many time. So I worried that the yarns may be disappointed with me that I was not using them and creating any beautiful item. Hence I decided to use fur yarn and I made this beautiful doily.
Doily with fur yarn
Pattern:
With fur yarn, make ring of ch5.
R1: dc12 in that ring, cl. (12 sts)
Note that first dc means always ch3.
R2: dc 2 in each st, cl (24 sts)
R3: (dc 1 in one st, dc 2 in next) rep, cl (36 sts). BO.
R4: Join white yarn, sc 1 in same st, (ch3, skip sufficient sp, join by sc 1) rep this till there are total 18 ch3-spaces and the round is covered.
Since stitches of previous round are not clearly seen so work out this round carefully, you may have undo the work 1 one or two times, but it’s simply chs round so no issue.
R5: sl st in first ch3-sp, [shell in that, shell means (dc3, ch3, dc3) in the same ch3-sp, ch1, sc 1 in next ch3-sp, ch1] rep till end, cl by sl st in third ch.
There will be 9 shells.
R6: sl st till ch3-sp of shell. [Shell on shell, ch3, sc 1 on sc of previous round, ch3] rep till end, cl
Sl st till ch3-sp of shell.
R7:[ sc 1 in ch3-sp of shell, ch10] rep till end, cl. (there are 9 ch10 spaces)
R8: dc16 in each ch10-sp, cl. (144 sts)
R9: (dc 1 on 2 sts, ch2, skip 2 sts) rep till end, lastly join by sl st. (There will be 36 ch2-gaps).
R10: (dc 1 on each dc and dc 2 in ch2-sp) rep till end, cl. (144 sts)
R11: Join blue yarn at any st. (sc 1 there, ch3 skip 2 sts) rep, cl (48 ch3-spaces formed)
R12: same as round 5. (24 petals)
R13: same as round 6. BO.
Join white yarn in ch3-sp of shell.
R14: (sc 1 in ch3-sp of shell, ch9) rep 24 times.
R15: dc 12 in each ch9-sp, cl ( 288 sts)
Join fur yarn in any st.
R16: dc 1 in alternate st throughout. (144 sts)
Join white yarn at any st.
R17: sc 2 in each gap between 2 dcs of previous round. Since it is difficult to find the stitch in fur yarn so we make scs in gap. Keep the finger and find the sp between two dcs.
R18: (ch9, skip 9 sts, sc 1 in 9 sts) rep 16 times. Cl. (16 ch9-spaces and 16 times sc9).
Sl st in next ch9-sp.
R19: (dc 12 in ch9-sp, skip first st, make sc 1 in each of 7 sts, skip last st) rep, cl. BO
Join blue yarn at second sc out of 7 sc made in last round.
R20: sc 1 in 5 sc-sts, skip last sc-st,[ (ch1, bpdc 1 on dc-st) 12 times, skip first sc-st of previous round, sc 1 on each of next 5 sts, skip last sc-st] rep till end, cl. Note that these back post dcs are not done around the double crochet but around the stitch only and it looks so beautiful.
Out of 5 sc-sts, skip first one and join white yarn in next st.
R21: sc 1in 3 sts, skip last sc-st, [skip first dc-st, (sc 1 in back loop of ch1-sp st, ch3) 9 times, skip last dc-st, skip first and last sc-st (out of 5 sc-st) make sc 1 in each of the middle 3 sts] rep, cl.
Join blue yarn at the middle sc st (out of 3 sc-sts of previous round)
R22: (sc 1 on idle sc-st, sc 1 in first ch3-loop, [ch4, join at first ch by sc, sc 1 in next ch3-loop, (first ch4 picot made)] 3 times, ch8, sc 1 in first ch, sc1 in next ch3-loop, again [ch4, join at first ch by sc, sc 1 in next ch3-loop, (first ch4 picot made)] 3 times,
Wow!!! such a beautiful doily it ready then pass fur yarn through the windows formed in round nine.
