Crochet Dinner Set / Coffee Set / Small Crochet Doily Square and Circular

 

Hello friends,

How are you all? Busy in crocheting? I am also. In last 15 days I created many things but missed to write them all on blog due to some shortage of time.

This Dinner Set is one of them. It's very simple and still looks very very beautiful. I made two circular pieces and two squares. 

I used just the left over yarn and 3.5 mm hook.

Diameter of round piece 9”, side of square motif 5”.

Pattern: 

For Round Motif:

R1: With dark green make dc 16 in a magic ring, cl. (16). (First dc means ch3).

R2: dc2 in each st, cl (32).

R3: (dc1 in 1 st, dc2 in next) 16 times, cl (48).

R4: (dc1 in 2 sts, dc2 next) 16 times, cl (64).

For this design we need multiple of 8 sts in last round.

R5: (dc1, ch2, skip 1 st) rep 32 times, cl (32 windows formed).

R6:  (dc 1 on dc-st, dc3 in ch1-sp of next window, ch2, skip one window) rep, cl.

R7: sl st 4 and get into ch2-sp, (dc4, ch2, dc4) in each ch2-sp, cl.

  

R8: [(dc1 on dc-st, ch1) 4 times, (dc1, ch1, dc1) in ch2-sp above, ch1, (dc1, ch1) 4 times] rep till end, cl, BO.

Fans of 10 (dc1, ch1) made.

Join yellow yarn at the joint of two fans.

R9:[ (sc1 on dc-st, ch3) rep 20 times, place marker at 10^th sc, join 20^th sc st with marker’s st] rep 8 times, cl, BO.

For Square Motif:

R1 and R2 same. (32 sts)

R3: (dc1, ch2, skip 1 st) rep  times, cl (16 windows formed)

R4: (dc 1 on dc-st, dc3 in ch1-sp of next window, ch3, skip one window) rep, cl. (8 ch3-spaces).

R5: sl st 4 and get into ch2-sp, (dc4, ch2, dc4) in each ch2-sp, cl.

R6: [(dc1 on dc-st, ch1) 4 times, (dc1, ch1, dc1) in ch2-sp above, ch1, (dc1, ch1) 4 times] rep till end, cl, BO.

Join yellow yarn at the joint of two fans.

R7:[ (sc1 on dc-st, ch3) rep 20 times, place marker at 10^th sc, join 20^th sc st with marker’s st] rep 4 times, cl, BO.

Then I made one more square and one more circular doily and finished my Dinner set. If you want you may have 6 square motives (for tea set).

Crochet Baby Set: Bonnet, Cap

How are you? hope happy in crocheting. 

In my last post I have given the pattern for baby frock. This is Baby cap in that set.

Baby Cap Bonnet Type

R1: In a magic loop make, dc12, cl (12 sts) 

Note always that first dc means ch3. 

R2: (dc2) in each of the 12 sts, cl (24) 

R3: [dc1, (dc2) in next] 12 times, cl. (36) 

R4: [ dc1 in 2 sts, (dc2) in next] 12 times, cl. (48) 

R5: [dc1 in 3 sts, (dc2) in next] 12 times, cl (60) 

R6: [ dc1 in 4 sts, (dc2) in next] 12 times, cl) 72) 

R7: [dc1 in 5 sts, (dc2) in next] 12 times, cl. (84) 

R8: ch3, [skip 2 sts, shell in next, (shell means (dc2, ch1, dc2) in same st),

Skip 2 sts, dc1 in next] rep till last 12 sts remain. (12 shells made)

R9: (WS) ch3 turn, [shell on shell, bpdc on dc] rep till end.

R10: (RS) ch3, turn, [shell on shell, fpdc on previous row bpdc] rep till end,

Repeat rows 9 and 10 till the required length (may be 4.5” for this size),

If you want you can add one row with white colour.

BORDER:

R1: Join white yarn at first dc so as to work on RS make sc 1 there, (dc7 in

ch1-sp of shell, fpsc on fpdc-st) rep till end, lastly sc in last st.

R2: Join dark pink at first st to work on RS, sc there, (sc1 in each dc-st, fpsc on sc-st)

 rep till end, lastly sc1.

SIDE ROW: With pink yarn make dc 2 in each dc-space, on both sides and dc 1 in

each st of the middle portion.

Crochet Baby Set: Shoes, Booties

 

Hello friends, 

In this post I will give the pattern of baby booties in that pink set.

(Sorry for the photo's quality because of white colour reflection of light is more disturbing)

Yarn 4 ply Ganga Glowing star, hook 3.5 mm.Length 3.75" and weight 40 gm

Pattern of Baby Booties Make ch 7. R1: from third ch make dc1 in 4 sts, (Throughout this booties we don't consider first ch2 as first dc),  (dc4) at corner st, dc1 in 4 sts from other side, (dc4) in the first ch made, cl. (16 sts). R2: ch2, dc1 in 5 sts, (dc2) in 1 st, (dc3) next, (dc2) in n ext st,(we increase 4 sts at corner side), dc1 in 5 sts, (dc2), (dc3), (dc2), cl. (24 sts). Join pink yarn. R3: ch2, dc1 in 7 sts, (dc2) in next 3 sts, dc1 in 9 sts on  other side, (dc2) in next 3 sts, dc 1 in last 2 st cl. (30 sts)  R4: ch2, dc1 in each st, cl. (30 sts)  R5, R6, R7: same as R4.  Now we have to Turn. Sl st in front loop of 4 sts, turn,  R8: ch2, dc1 in gap of 2 dcs 15 times, (15 sts) R9: ch2, dc1 in gap of 2 dcs 15 times, R10: work not in stitch but in between 2 dcs space. ch2, dc1 in 5 sts, (2dctog) 3 times,

 dc1 in 4 sts, (12 sts) 

R11: ch2, dc1 in 5 sts, (2dctog), dc1 in 5 sts, (11 sts).  R12: 11dctog, tie strongly.  R13: By making 2dctog 5 times, we pick up 5 sts from side portion, (2dctog because we don't want  to have any gaps or windows), dc1 in 15 sts, again (2dctog) 5 times along other side, 4dc in middle of 11dctog, cl. (29 sts).  R14: ch2, dc1 in each st, cl (29)  R15: ch2, (fpdc1, bpdc1) till end, cl.  R16: same as R14. fpdc on fp and bpdc on bp.  R17: Work on wrong side. Ch2, dc1 in each st and incr ease 1 st, cl. (30sts)  R18: ch3, consider as 1 st and dc1 in each of 29 sts, cl (31 sts), BO.  R19: Join white yarn, sc1 in same st, (skip 1 st, dc6 in  next, skip 1 st, sc1 in next) rep till end, cl.  R20: join dark pink at first st. [sc1 in one round below ( in between two pink dcs), sc1 in each of the 6 dc-sts] rep till end, cl.    The beautiful booties are ready then just put a small ribbon in that and have a bow.
