Crochet Doily with Three Leaves Design

As I have written in my previous post, this is the doily in which the same design of three leaves, I have tried in round. It really looks beautiful. I also wanted to make one change in this doily design which I felt actually after I finished the doily. That change is that instead of making only chains in between leaves, I should have make mesh design or windows design. But then I didn't dare to undo all that. So I am OK with this. I used 4 ply yarn in three colours and 3.5 mm crochet hook. It's diameter is 23" and weight Pattern: The puff stitch part is made in light shed which we call Badami (like almond). B stands for Badami, W for white and G for Green. With B colour, make a ring of ch 6. Ring of ch6 R1: ch3, (puff 1, ch2) rep, cl

First puff: ch3, (YO insert in ring, YO get 2 long sts) 5 times, there are 11 sts on hook, YO pass through all of them. Other puffs: same as above except initial ch3. R2: In each ch2 gap work (puff1, ch2, puff1) separated by ch2, cl.

R3: [puff on the puff of previous round, ch2, (puff1, ch2, puff1) in ch2-sp, ch2] rep, cl.

R4: [puff in the first ch2-sp, ch1, (puff, ch2, puff) in nexh ch2-sp, ch1, puff in next gap, ch4] rep, cl.

R5: [puff1, ch1, puff1, ch1, puff 1, ch7] 6 times, cl.

R6: [puff in the gap, ch1, puff in next gap, make sc1 on ch7 of round 5 and ch4 of round 4 combine, ch 7] 6 times, cl Six petals made.

R7: Join white yarn at the second round. (Ch3, sc 1) on the st going up around the petal, then on the top of the petal make sc 4 in ch2-sp, sc 1 in next sp, (ch3, sc 1) going down the petal, Repeat this for all 6 petals.

R8: Continue with petal colour again.[sc 7 on ch7-sp, ch5, sc7 on next ch7-sp, ch5] 6 times, cl.

R9: Join green yarn, [(dc3, ch3, dc3) in ch5-sp, ch7, dc3 in the middle st of ch5- sp, ch7] 6 times, cl.

R10: [dc1 on 3dc-st of previous round, ch4, dc 3 on previous rounds 3dc-sts, ch7, (dc 2, ch2) on each of the 3 dc-st, ch7] 6 times, cl.

R11: [dc3, ch5, dc 3, ch6, {(dc2 on first dc, ch1, dc2 on second dc) first leaf started, (ch2, dc 2, ch2) middle stem, (dc2, ch1, dc 2) second leaf started] 6 times, cl.

R21: With white yarn make dc 1 in each ch and on each dc-st, cl.

R22:With puff flower colour, puff1 in same st, (ch1, skip 1 st, puff 1 in next st) 4 times, turn, sl st in next gap, puff 1 in each gap separated by ch1, (3puffs made), turn, sl st in gap, ( puff1, ch1) 2 times, BO.

This make puffs 4,3 and 2. R23: Join white yarn at the first puff made, ch3, sc 1 in between 2 puffs till top on top make ch4 instead of 3 and repeat around each petal shape.

Crochet Toran with Three Leaves Design, Door Hanging, Door Decor

Hi, how are you? must be fine. This time I made one door hanging (Toran) and one doily with matching design. Three leaves design, I tried in rows and in round. In this post I will write about rowwise three leaves design. I made this with Vardhamaan 4 ply yarn but what I found is that quality of the yarn which I bought from local shop is not good which can be easily seen from the photoes. Pattern: In figure 1, it can be seen that there are 5 yellow strips in that door hanging and the middle green design is lacy so carrying yellow yarn forward is not easy rather is not possible. Hence I make 4 small extra balls of 5 gm each so that separate balls can be used for each strip separately. The weight 5 gm is approximately taken and the remaining yarn will be used to make tessels. Length 36:, height 5.5" and with tassels 11". Weight 75 gm. Pattern: Chs 154 R1: By yellow, dc 1 in each ch starting from 4th ch (151 sts)

R2: [dc 1 in 6 sts, Join green yarn, (ch1, skip 1 st, dc 1 in next) 4 times, ch2, skip 3 sts, (dc1, ch1) 3 times in next st, ch2, skip 3 sts, (dc1, ch1 skip 1 st) 4 times]. Join second small yellow ball and repeat [ to ] 4 times, lastly dc 6 by yellow.

R3: [with yellow, dc 1 in 6 sts, with green, ch1 (dc1 on previous dc, ch1) 3 times, ch2, (dc1, ch1, dc1) in first of the three middle dcs, ch2, dc 2 on second dc-st, ch2, (dc 1, ch1, dc1) on third dc-st, ch2, skip next dc, (dc 1 on next dc-st, ch1) 3 times, ch1] repeat 4 more times, lastly dc 6.

R11: [ with yellow yarn, dc 1 on 6 sts, join green, ch1, dc 1 on dc-st, ch1, dc 1 on ch3-sp, ch1, dc 1 on edge of the first leaf, ch2, middle leaf (2dctog, dc1, ch1, 2dctog, dc1), ch2, dc 1 on third leaf edge, ch1, dc1 in ch3-sp, ch1, dc1 on dc-st, ch1], join yellow, repeat from [ to ] 4 more times, lastly dc6 by yellow.

R12:[ with yellow, dc 1 on 6 sts, join green, (ch1, dc 1) 3 times, ch4, middle leaf (2dctog, ch1, 2 dctog), ch4, (dc1, ch1) 3 times, ch1], join yellow yarn, repeat [ to ] 4 times, lastly dc6 by yellow.

R13: [with yellow, dc 1 on 6 sts, join green, (ch1, dc 1) 3 times, ch1, dc 1 in ch4-so, ch2, 2dctog skipping, ch2, dc 1 on ch4-sp, (ch1, dc1) 3 times, ch1, join yellow, rep from [ to ] 4 times, lastly dc 6 by yellow.

R14: with yellow, dc 1 on each st, in between green part there should be 23 dcs.

R15: Border: hdc 1 in each st all around 4 sides with hdc 3 at corner. With double strands make chs and sew them as shown.

You may make chains yellow for half length and green for remaining half of the required length as in next figure or one completely by yellow and other completely by green as I have sewed. Toran, Door Hanging, Door Decor, Bandhanwar

Hello friends, White pink is my favorite combination. I made this door hanging in these two colours. Along with these two colours 4 ply yarn, I used 3.5 mm crochet hook. Length of this Toran is 35", height 11" and weight 60". Pattern: With pink yarn, Make chs of required length, I made 35" and for that I have to make chs 150. R1: ch4, (skip 1 st, dc 1 in next, ch1) rep till end. 75 windows formed.

R2: ch4, dc 1 on dc-st, (ch1, dc 1 on next dc-st) rep, till end.

R3: ch4 turn, (puff 1 in next ch1-gap, ch1) rep till end. {Puff means: (YO insert in a gap, YO get two long sts) 5 times, there are 11 sts on hook, YO and pass through all of them, ch 1 to fix the puff}.

Join white yarn. R4: ch4, (dc 1 in ch1 gap between two puffs, ch1) rep till end. 75 windows formed.

R5: ch4, (dc 1 on dc-st, ch1) rep till end.

R6: ch3, (puff 1 in next gap, ch1) rep till end. R7: as R4 R8: as R5. Join pink yarn.

R9: as R3. R10: as R11 as R4 and R5.

Toran Patti made. Now we have to divide these 75 windows in the last row for our semicircles of 17 sts each, so 75=17+2+17+3+17+2+17. Place markers accordingly. Also place another new marker at 9th window (means mid of first 17 windows marked). Now on right side facing, skip one window on left of new marker and join white yarn.at dc-st. R1: ch3, [(puff 1,ch1) 3 times in next window], ch2 more, join at next window's dc-st in last row of toran patti.

ch2, join at dc-st of next window of toran patti by sl st. R2: ch1, (dc 1 in ch1-gap, ch1, dc 1 on dc-st, ch1) rep,

ch2, join at dc-st of next window of toran patti, by sl st. R3: ch1, puff 1 in each gap. Same design as in Toran Patti, only in round. Ch2 and go to next dc of toran patti R4: (ch1 dc 1 on puff st, ch1, dc 1 in gap) rep, cl.ch2, sl st on next dc of toranpatti.

R5: ch1, puff 1 in each gap (18 puffs) R6: ch1, (dc1 in between two puff sts, ch2) rep, lastly ch1, join by sl st with toran patti.Ch2, go to next dc of toranpatti. Bind off white yarn and join pink yarn.

R7: ch1, (puff 1 in one gap, puff 2 in next gap) rep till end, lastly puff 1 in last gap, join by sl st at dc-st of toranpatti. ch2 and go to next dc-st. R8:ch1, (dc1 in between two puff, ch1) rep, join at dc-st of toranpatti, ch2 go to next dc-st.

R9: ch2, hdc 2 in each gap, lastly join by sl st and bind off.
