Crochet Multi Speciality Bag with Mosaic Granny Square

 

Hello friends,

This is very multispeciality Bag in which we can keep our Mobile, Small Diary, Pen, Goggle, Cards, Coins and many other things. ( May be some make up stuff etc)

Pattern is here, First make Mosaic granny square which is the outer compartment of our bag.

Mosaic granny Square:

R1: With white (dc3, ch2)4 times in a magic loop, cl.

Sl st till ch2-sp. 

R2:(shell means (dc3, ch2, dc3) in ch2-sp, ch1) 4 times, cl. BO.

Join base color at corner.

R3:[ shell, ch1, (dc1, fptr in middle dc of R1 below, dc1) in ch1-sp,  ch1] 4 times, cl.

Sl st 3 till ch2-sp. 

R4: [shell, ch1, {(dc1, fptr in middle dc of R2 below, dc1) in ch1-sp,  ch1}2 times] 4 times, cl. BO.

Join light yellow yarn at corner.

R5: [shell, ch1, {(dc1, fptr in middle dc of R3 below, dc1) in ch1-sp, ch1} 3 times] 4 times, cl. Sl st till ch2-sp. 

R6: [shell, ch1, {(dc1, fptr in middle dc of R4 below, dc1) in ch1-sp, ch1} 4 times] 4 times, cl.

Join yellow yarn at corner. 

R7: [shell, ch1, {(dc1, fptr in middle dc of R5 below, dc1) in ch1-sp, ch1} 5 times] 4 times, cl. Sl st till ch2-sp. 

R8: [shell, ch1, {(dc1, fptr in middle dc of R4 below, dc1) in ch1-sp, ch1} 6 times] 4 times, cl. BO.

This piece measures 6.5" so we work the last round of granny with orange color. Join at corner. Work this round in st or fp, not in gaps.

R9: [shell, skip first dc-st, dc1 in next 2 sts, skip ch1gap, fptr on middle st of R7, dc1 on dc-st, also dc1 on fptr-st, fptr on middle fptr-st in R7.....

Thus (dc2, fptr1) and shell at corner....rep this on all 4 sides. BO.

Note that there are 29 sts on one side of granny.

Compartment for goggle:

Now with base color, start from one corner and make dc1 in 14 st or more if you want bigger compartment for goggle.

R2: ch1 turn, sc1 in each st.

Repeat these 2 rows till the length of this strip is same as length of the granny square. 

Now let's make big Part of the bag.

We cast on 29+2 chs of both corners +1 extra, that is 32 chs.

R1: ch3, dc1 in each st.

R2: ch1 turn, sc1 in each st.

Repeat these 2 rows till the length of the strip is 23"-24".

For cover (flap) of the bag, place marker at the centre.

Join the yarn in third right st.

R1: dc 9 at marker's place. Skip 2 sts on left and join by sc in next st.

R2: ch3, skip 2 sts, join in next by sc, turn, dc1 in first st, dc2 in each of 8 sts, skip 2 sts and join by sc. Ch3, skip 2 sts, join by sc in next.

R3: (skip 1 st, 4dc-puff in next, ch2) 8 times, lastly dc1 in last st, skip 2 sts and join by sc in next. Ch3, skip 2 sts, join by sc in next.

R4: dc3 in first gap, dc4 in each of the next 8 ch2-spaces, skip 2 sts, join by sc in next. 

R5: (ch5, sc1 in 4th dc-st) rep till end. Ch3, skip 2 sts, sc1 in edge st. Turn,

R6: (dc6, hdc1, sc1) in first ch5-sp, (sc1, hdc1, dc6, hdc1, sc1) in each of the next seven ch5-spaces, in last ch5-sp make (sc1, hdc1, dc6), lastly join at the last edge st. BO.

Make one rectangular piece as an internal pocket or compartment.  For that chs 20+3.

One row of double crochet and second of single crochet. Work to get 4"-5". Sew it's three sides in the inner portion of bigger part of bag.You can sew press button or zip for this.

Start sewing two sides of big bag by single crochets. 2 scs in dc-row and 1dc in sc-row.

Now by orange color Sew granny to it as shown. Remember also to include goggle strip while sewing.

Now let us make small coin bag of 20 sts exactly as the red join bag video we already have. 

R1: dc1 in 19 sts, dc6 at last st, dc1 in each st from other side.

R2: dc1 in each of 19 sts, (dc2 in each st)6 times, dc1 in each st from other side.

R3: dc19, (dc1, (dc2)) 6 times, dc19 from other side. 

R4: dc19, (dc1 in 2 sts, dc2 next)6 times, dc1 in 19 sts from other side. BO.

Sew press button.

Now sew two sides to form a beautiful Coin bag.

We attach it with some beads so that you can keep it outside or if contains some valuables then you can place it in Granny square compartment.

BELT: With double threads of orange yarn make,

R1: ch2, sc 1 in second ch from hook. Turn,

R2: insert hook in a oblique st seen (2 threads), YO pass through it, YO pass through 2 sts (4 threads) (i.e. make sc1) Turn 

R3: insert hook in 2 oblique sts (4 threads), YO pass through them, YO, Pass through these 4 threads.

Repeat R3 till the required length of belt (nearly 47"-48").

Sew the belt as shown in figure. Also Sew show button.
