Beautiful Crochet Doily with Flower Border, Tablemat, Crochet Break-Tea- Coaster

Hello friends,

Here watch the tablemat I made.It's beautiful Oval shaped doily with flower border. Ofcourse you can make circular shape doily with the same flower border.

Oval Shape Tablemat: Length 20", Width 15" and Weight 78 gm. Hook 3.5 mm

PATTERN: Make chs 26. 

R1: From third ch make dc1 in each st (24) till end, make dc6 in last ch then on other side again make dc1 in each st, in last st make dc 5, cl (Total stitches= 24+6+24+6=60)

Place markers in first and last st at corner (6sts at corner). Make sl st 1 in order to start new round from first st in straight.

R2: [dc24, (dc2) in 6 sts at corner] 2 times, cl (24+12+24+12=72)

R3: [(dc1, ch1, skip 1 st) 12 times, at corner (dc1, ch1) 12 times (don't skip 1 st at corner)] 2 times, cl

R4: (dc1 on each dc-st and dc1 in each ch1-sp) rep till end, cl(24+24+24+24=96 sts)

R5: [dc1 in 24 sts, at corner [dc3, (dc2) in next] 6 times] 2 times, cl. (24+30+24+30= 108 sts)

R6: [(dc1, ch1, skip 1 st) 12 times, at corner [(dc1, ch1), then (dc1, ch1, skip 1 st)] repeat this till marker] 2 times, cl.

R7: [dc1 on dc-st, dc1 in ch1-sp] all over, cl (Number of stitches should be 24-24 on straight side and 42-42 on curved side, if not you may increase stitches on curved side.) (Total= 24+42+24+42=132)

R8: [dc24, at corner {dc6, (dc2) next} 6 times] 2 times, cl (24+48+24+48=144)

R9: [dc24, at corner {dc7, (dc2) next} 6 times] 2 times, cl (24+54+24+54=156). Make a knot but don't cut the yarn.

FLOWER: With Orange, R1: In magic loop make ch1, sc5, cl.

R2: [ch3, tr1, db tr 1, ch1-picot, tr1, ch3, sl st in the same base st, sl st in nest] rep 5 times, cl

Now next flower with White but make only 1 petals and join 3rd and 4th petal at ch1-picot with the 2 petals of orange flower. Then join third orange flower and so on.... For clear understanding please watch video below. Then place these joint flowers around the blue part and guess that how much flowers you need to do. I made 10 orange and 10 white flowers. Now we have to fit these flowers in 156 stitches in the last round. Means I can use 8 sts per flower only for 4 flowers 1 stitch will be less. We shall adjust them while joining corner's flowers.

R10: ch1, [sc1 in 3 sts, join petal at 4th st (insert hook in 4th st, same hook in ch1-picot of petal, YO get 1 st, make 4th sc, sc1 in 3 sts, join next petal] rep this till all flowers are joint. Only while joining 2 flowers on corner instead of 3 sc in between 2 petals, make only 2 sc, Cl. BO.

Each flower has only 1 unjoint petal. Join blue yarn at unjoint petal of any flower.

R11: ch1, sc1, (ch12, sc1 in next petal) rep all around means 20 times, cl.

R12: [in ch12-sp make, (sc1, hdc1, dc15, hdc1, sc1) sl st in next ch12-sp] rep till end, cl.

R1: dc 16 in magic loop, cl

R2: (dc2) in each st, cl (32)

R3: [dc1, ch1, skip 1 st] 16 times cl. (16 dcs, 16 ch1-spaces)

R4: [dc1 on dc-st, dc2 in ch1-sp] 16 times, cl (48)

R5: [dc1 in 2 st, dc2 in next] 16 times, cl. (64)

R6: [dc1 in 3 st, dc2 in next] 16 times, cl. (80)

R7: [dc1, ch1, skip 1 st] 32 times, cl (32 dcs, 32 ch1-spaces)

R8: [dc1 on dc-st, dc2 in ch1-sp] 32 times, cl. (96)

R9: dc1 in each st, cl (96)

R10: [dc1 in 5 sts, dc2 next] 16 times, cl (112)

This number is divisible by 8 hence make 14 flowers may be of one color or in two colors around it. Join them as follow,

R11: ch1, sc1 in 3 sts, in next st make sc with joining first petal of first flower, sc1 in 3, in the next st join second petal of the first flower, sc1 in 3 sts, in next st join first petal of the second flower, sc1 in 3 sts, join second petal of second flower in next st and so on....

R12: Join base color at any open petal. ch1, [sc1 at ch1-picot of one flower, ch12, sc1 in ch1-picot of next flower] repeat till end, cl

R13: [sl st at ch1-picot, in ch12-sp make (sc1, dc15, sc1)] rep till end, cl.
