Crochet Samai Rangoli, Doily, Tablemat

 

Hello friends,

This time I made 3D crochet design for Samai Rangoli. It looks beautiful It's not simply samai rangoli but you can also make doily or tablemat with the same beautiful design.

PATTERN: Make ring of chs 60.

R1: (dc1 in 4 sts, dc2 next) 12 times, cl (72)

R2: (dc1 in 5 sts, dc2 next) 12 times, cl (84)

R3: [{dc1, (dc1, ch5, dc1) V in next st, dc1 next} ch4, skip 4 sts, (dc2) in next, skip 4 sts] repeat till end, cl (We get 7 Vs).

                                                     

R4: [fpdc on both dcs, ch1, dc7 in ch5-sp of V, ch1, fpdc 2, ch3, dc2, ch3] 7 times, cl

R5: [4fpdc cluster on first fpdc, ch1 to fix it, extra dc 1 in between two fpdcs, (ch1,dc1 in back loop) 7 times, ch1, fpdc on fpdc, extra dc in gap between two fpdcs, 4fpdc cluster on next fpdc, ch1, dc1 in between 2dcs of R4 (that made bold), ch1] rep 7 times, cl

R6: [4fpdc on dc (extra dc made in R5), make extra dc in between 2 fpdcs, dc1 in the gap (this is extra dc made for the cluster in next round), fpdc on fpdc, (ch1, dc1 in between 2 dcs) 6 times, ch1, fpdc on fpdc, 4fpdc-cluster on extra dc made in previous round, fpdc, ch3, dc1, ch3] 7 times, cl

                                                              

R7: [cluster, extra dc, fpdc, (ch1, dc1 in gap between 2dcs) 5 times, ch1, fpdc, cluster on extra dc, ch3, dc1 in ch3-sp, ch1, fpdc on dc, ch1, dc1 in ch3-sp, ch3] 7 times, cl.

R8:[Cluster, extra dc, fpdc on fpdc, (ch1, dc1 in between 2dcs) 4 times, ch1, fpdc on fpdc, extra dc in gap, cluster, ch3, (fpdc, ch4, fpdc) V on fpdc, ch3] 7 times, cl.

R9: [Cluster, extra dc, fpdc on fpdc, (ch1, dc1 in between 2dcs) 3 times,  ch1, fpdc on fpdc, extra dc in gap, cluster, ch3, fpdc on right arm of V-fpdc, (ch1, dc1) 5 times, ch1, fpdc on left arm of V] 7 times, cl.

R10: [Cluster, extra dc, fpdc on fpdc, (ch1, dc1 in between 2dcs) 2 times,  ch1, fpdc on fpdc, extra dc in gap, cluster, ch3, fpdc on right arm of V-fpdc, (ch2, dc1)2 times, ch2, dc3 on middle dc, (ch2, dc1) 2 times, ch2, fpdc, ch3] 7 times, cl.

R11: [Cluster, extra dc, fpdc on fpdc, (ch1, dc1 in between 2dcs) 1 time,  ch1, fpdc on fpdc, extra dc in gap, cluster, ch3, fpdc on right arm of V-fpdc, (ch2, dc1) 2 times, ch2, fpdc on each of the 3dc of previous round, (ch2, dc1) 2 times, ch2, fpdc, ch3] 7 times, cl.

R12: [Cluster, extra dc, fpdc on both fpdc, cluster, ch3, fpdc on fpdc, (ch3, dc1) 2 times, ch3, 3fpdctog , ch3, dc1) 2 times, ch3, fpdc, ch3] 7 times, cl.

R13: [4dctog at the joint of 2 fpdcs, ch3, fpdc, (ch4, dc1, ch4-picot)2 times, ch5, tr1, ch6-picot, ch5, (dc1, ch4-picot, ch4) 2 times, fpdc, ch3, 4dctog in between 2 fpdc, ch6-picot] 7 times, cl.

Finally it looks so beautiful.  You can ofcourse make tablemat with this design.

Start with ususal,

R1: dc12 in magic loop, cl

R2: dc2 in each st, cl (24)

R3: [dc1 in 1 st, dc2 next] 12 times, cl (36)

R4: [dc1 in 2 st, dc2 next] 12 times, cl (48)

R5: [dc1 in 3 st, dc2 next] 12 times, cl (60)

After this start from R1 as given in pattern. The beautiful 3D Design Doily will be ready.
