Crochet Jewelry Part 7: Hair Accessory, Decorated Comb Type Clip

 

Hello friends,

My next jewelry item is very beautiful and I hope you will like it. It's Decorated Hair Clip which is Comb type. As you know I made Jewelry set for Baby Shower Ceremony and in Maharashtra Green color is promonant in that function. I bought comb type hair clip which is 3". I used Vardhman millenium yarn, hook 1.75 mm some beads and thin metal wire.

PATTERN: 

Flower: In a magic loop make (ch3, incomplete tr 3, YO and pass through all, ch3-picot by sl st, ch3, sl st in magic loop) 6 times, cl.

Sew bead at the centre of the flower. Also make small flowers, 2 in white and 2 in yellow, with 4 petals 

Leaf: Make chs 8, from second ch make sc1, hdc1, dc1, (dc2), dc1, hdc1, sc1, ch1-picot by sl st, then on other side sc1, hdc1, dc1, (dc2), dc1, hdc1, sc1, sl st in first st of other side. BO.

Make such 4 leaves or as you wish.

Bud: ch4, 3 incomplete dc in first ch, YO pass through all, ch1, again ch4, 3 incomplete dc in first ch, YO pass through all, fold, sl st in initial fist ch st.

Pass a 5" thin metal wire through it, double it and wrap by green yarn. Make such 5-6 buds.

Then cut two sided glue strip as per size of the clip, glue it on clip.

Then make two Latkan by threading 15 beadsand glue it first of all at centre. Then glue middle big flower and others as per your choice.
