Crochet Jewelry Part 6: Necklace fit to Neck

 

Hi,

My next jewelry item is Necklace. In part 1, we made chain and pendant as necklace, but generally for functions ladies also wear one necklace fit to the neck and that's why I made this one.

I use same Dropill yarn, 1.75 mm hook and 0.5 mm hook for threading bead. Also I need some beads.

PATTERN: With yellow yarn make ch2, thread a bead, fix it by ch1, ch5, sl st in second ch means chain near the bead. 

Then make ch1, sc6 in ch5-sp around the bead then sl st in ch between two beads, ch1 then second bead .....

Repeat from till the required length of necklace. 

For 10" length I have to thread 15 beads. This much part also can be used as casual simple necklace.

Join green yarn at one end in order to work on right side.

R2: (ch8, sl st at the st after bead) repeat till end.

R3: (WS): sc9 in each ch8-sp, again this too looks beautiful.

R4: (RS) [ch1, turn, skip first st, sl st in next, (ch2, sl st in next) 3 times, at centre ch4, sl st in same st, (ch2, sl st in next) 3 times, skip last st] rep till end, sl st in the last st. BO.

                                                     

Then make cord of chs 50 and 4dc-puff at the end. Make similar cord at second end also.
