Crochet Baby Set Part 3, Socks for 1.5 to 2 years Baby with Granny Hexagon, Simple Crochet Socks (any size)

 

Hello friends,

This is the third and the last part of this crochet baby set. Here I am making Socks for 1.5 years to 2 years baby. But of course you can make it in any size. You need only this length of your sole, 

For ladies this length is generally 9" but since here I am making it for kids our required length is 4.5". So make it for any one they are very simple to make even beginners can make it. It's final weight is 33 gm.

PATTERN: With red yarn make ring of ch4.

R1: in the ring (dc3, ch2) 6 times, cl.

                                 

R2: (dc3, ch2, dc3) shell in each ch2-sp, cl.

          

R3: [shell in ch2-sp of shell, dc3 in between 2 shells] 6 times, cl.

R4: [shell in ch2-sp of shell, (dc3 in next gap) 2 times] 6 times, cl.

R5: [shell in ch2-sp of shell, (dc3 in next gap) 3 times] 6 times, cl.

R6: [shell in ch2-sp of shell, (dc3 in next gap) 4 times] 6 times, cl.

Then fold as shown and measure the length of the side, if it is 4.5" then it's OK otherwise work some more rounds.

For my yarn R6 gives me length of the side 4.5".

Then sew two sides from wrong side by single crochet. For that make sl st till ch2-sp and then turn to wrong side and sew by single crochet. 

Lastly turn to right side again. Join cream color yarn at one st.

Toe: R1: (dc1 in 1 st, 2dctog next) 7 times, cl (14)

                                                 

R2: (2dctog) 7 times, cl.

                                                       

Lastly close all 7 sts by tapestry needle.

Lastly make Border: R1: with cream color yarn, dc1 in each st, cl (21)

R2: ch2, (fpdc1, bpdc1) 10 times, cl

R3: ch2, fpdc on fpdc and bpdc on bpdc, cl.

The sock is ready. Make one more.
