Last year in Dec-Jan, I made number of designs in keychains for giving gifts on occasion of Sankranti for example, Frock keychain, Shirt keychain, Slipper, Heart, Rose etc. Many of my followers made them for themselves or for sell. This time I made Kite as a bookmark gift, another type of heart keychain and this flower keychain.

Flower Keychain: Pattern:
Two different types for two keychains. Pink-Green is 4" in diameter and Whit_Red is 2.7" wide.
Bigger one is made in 14 gm yarn and smaller one in 5 gm. So again this is the best use of left over yarn.
Yarn: Oswal 4 ply, hook 3.5 mm
R1: In a magic loop make ch1, sc6. Work in spiral.
R2: sc2 in each st. (12).
R3: (sc1 in 1 st, sc2 in next) 6 times (18).
R4: (sc1 in 2 st, sc2 in next) 6 times (24).
R5: (sc1 in 3 st, sc2 in next) 6 times (30)
R6: (sc1 in 4 st, sc2 in next) 6 times (36).
Make one more pieces. Sew beads as eyes and make small embroidery for nose and for smily face.
Place WS on WS and join them by sc till 1” remains open.
Stuff some fiber and then sew remaining part.
For border join other colour in any st.
R1: (ch3, tr5 in same st, ch3, sl st in the same st, skip 1 st, sl st in next) rep 18 times, cl BO.
Make a loop of 12 chs and sew at the centre top to pass keychain.
For smaller keychain
BORDER: (ch2, dc 5 in same st, ch2, sl st in same st, skip 1 st, sl st in next) rep 18 times, cl BO.
Make loop of 12 chs for attaching keychain.
The beautiful keychains are ready to gift your friends.
