Crochet Simple Small Doily: Ganapati Aasan 1

Hello friends, After the month of Shrawan (in which month Raksh bandhan is there) there is Gauri Ganapati festival about which I have written in my post on 19th Aug 2020. This year I decoded to make 8-9 or if possible 10 doilies as Ganapati Aasan (Rug to place Ganapati idol). Some of them I decided to make small some medium and some big, as per the need of different families. Generally we bring small idol of Ganeshji, so I made some doilies just having 8-9 inches diameter. This is one of them and it is very very simple just beginner crocheter can also make this. I used 4 ply yarn and 3.5 mm hook. Its diameter is just 8.5" and weight 18 gm. Pattern: Make a ring of ch 6. R1: (dc1, ch1) 14 times, cl, first dc means always ch3. Sl st in ch1-gap,
R2: (dc2 in gap, ch1) 14 times, cl. Sl st in ch1-gap,
R3: (dc3 in gap, ch1) 14 times, cl. Sl st in ch1-gap,
R4: (dc4 in gap, ch1) 14 times, cl. Sl st in ch1-gap,
R5: (dc5 in gap, ch1) 14 times, cl. Sl st till the middle dc out of %dcs reached.
R6: (sc1 in between dcs 2 and 3, ch6, sc 1 in between dcs 3 and 4, ch2, sc 1 in ch1-gap of previous round, ch2) 14 times, cl.
R7:[ (dc5, ch3-picot, dc5) in the loop, (petal made) sc1 on sc of previous round] 14 times, cl
Join yellow yarn in between first and second dc of any petal. Use 1.75 mm hook. R8:{ [(sc1, ch1) in gap between dcs] 5 times, (sc1, ch2, sc1) in ch3-picot, (ch1, sc1 in gap) 5 times} 14 times, cl.
R9: Sl st in each st of round 1 (working yarn will be on back side), cl.
R10: same as round 9 after round 2 of red yarn.
Then I sewed bunch of 3 small beads at each petal-corner. The beautiful doily is ready here. ETC: Enjoy the Creativity.
