Crochet Vegetable Basket Part 8: Capsicum

Hello friends, Capsicum, one of the beautiful vegetable. In India mostly green capsicums are found.
In USA when I saw yellow, red and orange capsicum along with green, I was so impressed I took their photo.
Here is the pattern: R1: In a magic loop make ch1, sc6, cl the loop but don’t close by sl st, work in spiral. R2: sc2 in each st, (12 sts) R3: (sc1 in one st, sc2 in next) 6 times, (18 sts)
R4: (sc1 in 2 st, sc2 in next) 6 times, (24 sts) R5: sc 1 in each st (24) R6: (sc1 in 3 st, sc2 in next) 6 times, (30 sts)
R7 and R8: sc 1 in each st (30) R9: (sc1 in 2 st, sc2 in next, sc1 in 2 sts) 6 times, (36 sts)
R10 to R21: sc 1 in each st (36)
R22: (sc1 in 4 sts, 2sctog next) 6 times, (30) R23: (sc1 in 4 sts, 2sctog next) 5 times, (25) R24: (sc1 in 3 sts, 2sctog next) 5 times, (20) R25: (sc1 in 2 sts, 2sctog next) 5 times, (15) R26: (sc1 in 4 sts, 2sctog next) 5 times, (10). Fill fiber.
R27: (2sctog) 5 times, (5 sts). BO. Close by tapestry needle. Cut the yarn with 2 ft yarn end. Insert yarn from top centre to bottom centre and pull. Repeat this 5 times with uniform distance in between.
Stem: In a magic loop make ch1, sc 4. Cl the loop. R2 to R4: sc 1 in each st. (4). R5: sc 2 in each st, (8 sts) BO with 5”-6” yarn end and sew this to the top of the Capsicum made.
