Two Colored 3D Tea Coaster / Table Mat / Purse / Pouch

In my previous post I have shown the tea coaster I made. This is another version of that with two different colors, fig 1, and Back post double crochet instead of chains in the previous tea coaster.

In two colors it looks beautiful. This is not only tea coaster as in fig 4, we can use it as a table mat for flower pot in our guets room, see fig 2, or we can make a small purse by folding it along the diameter. Only then we have to place linen and zip. Also make a small haddle as shown in fig 3.

One more tea coaster I made in red and white combination. See fig 5.

Wool used is 4 ply red and green with crochet hook 3.5 mm.
Pattern:

R1: With red (R) yarn, in a magic loop ch 3 (first dc), double crochet (dc) 11, close by slip stitch (Sl St) in 3rd chain (ch).

R2: With green (G) yarn, BPsc 1 on first dc (ch3), ch 2, [with R yarn, (FPdc 1, ch 1, FPdc1) on next dc, with G yarn BPdc1] 5 times, (FPdc 1, ch 1, FPdc1) on next dc, close

R3:  With G yarn, BPsc 1 on first dc, ch 2, [with R yarn, FPdc 1, (dc1, ch 1, dc 1) in next ch 1- gap, FPdc1 on next dc, with G yarn BPdc2 on next BPdc (in all 2BPdc)] repeat, close 

R4: With G yarn BPsc 1 on first dc, ch 2, [with R yarn FPdc 1 in next 2 dcs, (dc1, ch 1, dc 1) in next ch 1- gap, FPdc1 on next 2dcs, with G yarn BPdc2 in next BPdc, BPdc 1 in next BPdc (in all 3 BPdc)] repeat,  close

R5:  With G yarn, BPsc 1 on first dc, ch 2, [with R yarn, FPdc 1 in next 3 dcs, (dc1, ch 1, dc 1) in next ch 1- gap, FPdc1 on next 3dcs, with G yarn, BPdc2 in next first and last BPdc, BPdc 1 in each of middle BPdc, (in all 5 BPdc)] repeat,  close
After this round it 

will look as in fig 6 

R6:  With G yarn, BPsc 1 on first dc, ch 2, [with R yarn, FPdc 1 in next 8 dcs, with G yarn, BPdc2 on first and last BPdc and BPdc 1 in middle BPdc (in all 7 BPdc)] repeat, close. After this round, see fig 7.

R7: With G yarn, BPsc 1 on first dc, ch 2, [ with R yarn, 2FPdctog, FPdc 1 in each of the next 4 sts, 2FPdctog, with G yarn BPdc2 on first and last BPdc and BPdc 1 in middle BPdc (in all 9 BPdc)] repeat, close. After this round, see fig 8.

R8: With G yarn, BPsc 1 on first dc, ch 2, [ with R yarn 2FPdctog, FPdc 1 in each of the next 2 sts, 2FPdctog, with G yarn, BPdc2 on first and last BPdc and BPdc 1 in middle BPdc (in all 11 BPdc)] 5 times, see fig 9.

R9: With G yarn, BPsc 1 on first dc, ch 2, [ with R yarn, 2FPdctog, 2FPdctog, with G yarn BPdc2 on first and last BPdc and BPdc 1 in middle BPdc (in all 13 BPdc)] repeat, close. 

R10: With G yarn BPsc 1 on first dc,ch 2, [ with R yarn, 2FPdctog, with G yarn BPdc2 on first and last BPdc and BPdc 1 in middle BPdc (in all 13 BPdc)] repeat, close. See fig 1.

You can make two such pieces and join them and sew belt to create this beautiful purse as in fig 10.

This small doily has multiple uses so I hope that you will love to make it.
