Beautiful Crochet Tea - Coaster, Table Mat for Flower Pot
Fig 1
Hi,
This tea-coaster I made in last week. When I worked 3D crochet jacket and cap, at once I got an idea to make tea coaster and the idea came out so beautiful!
As a tea coaster, I have to make 6 like this but then I decided to keep this as a flower pot base table mat and it looks wonderful in both cases. Fig 2 and 3.
With 4 ply yarn and 3,5 mm crochet hook, it came out 6" in width. For tea coaster if you want smaller size then with the same patter and 2 mm hook you can have the smaller size.

Pattern:
R1: In a magic loop ch 3 (first dc), double crochet (dc) 11, close by slip stitch (Sl St) in 3rd chain (ch).
R2: BPsc 1 on first dc (ch3), ch 2, [(FPdc 1, ch 1, FPdc1) on next dc, BPdc1] 5 times, (FPdc 1, ch 1, FPdc1) on next dc, close (18 sts)
