Crochet Doiy with Beads

Hi friends,

I have already made one doily with beads. Click the following link for that doily,

https://alkaandart.blogspot.com/2021/04/beaded-doily-for-home-decor-or-chaitra.html

This red one is another with beads. It's diameter is 15.5" and weight is 75 gm including 24-25 gm weight of beads. I use Vardhaman Millenium yarn, Hook used 3.5 mm and 5 or 6 numbers beads nearly 500. Thread 480 beads in the yarn. For threading the beads, first apply some fabric fevicol to the yarn end, allow it to dry. Then the yarn will become stiff as shown in photo. So that you can easily thread the beads.

R1: dc 16 in magic loop, cl (First dc is always ch3) Make a knot but don't cut the yarn.

Join White yarn at st. R2: (3dctog, ch2) in each st, cl.

R3: V (dc1, ch2, dc1) in each ch2-sp, cl (16 V)

R4: (dc 5 in ch2-sp of V, ch3, skip next V) rep 8 times, cl.

R5: [on 5 dcs make {(dc2), dc1, (dc2), dc1, (dc2)}, ch2] 8 times, cl. We have (8dc. ch2) 8 times.

R6: [(dc2) in first and last dc-sts and dc1 in between all dc-sts, ch2] 8 times, cl. Means (10 dc, ch2) 8 times.

R7: same as R6. Means (12 dcs, ch2) 8 times.

R8: same as R6.

Means (14 dcs, ch2) 8 times.

R9: dc1 in 12 dc-sts, ch3, slide 4 beads near hook, fix them by one chain, skip first and last dc-sts and make dc 1 on each middle sts,

R10: [Skip first and last st, make dcs on middle 10 sts, ch 3, block of 4 beads (means get 4 beads close to hook and ch1 to fix them) ch 3, join at the block of 4 beads made in previous round, ch3, block of 4 beads, ch3] 8 times, cl. (2 blocks of 4 beads)

R11: [Skip first and last st, make dcs on middle 8 sts, {ch 3, block of 4 beads, ch 3, join at the block of 4 beads made in previous round} 2 times, ch3, block of 4 beads, ch3] 8 times, cl. (3 blocks of 4 beads)

R12: [Skip first and last st, make dcs on middle 6 sts, {ch 3, block of 4 beads,  ch 3, join at the block of 4 beads made in previous round} 3 times, ch3, block of 4 beads, ch3] 8 times, cl. (4 blocks of 4 beads)

R13: [Skip first and last st, make dcs on middle 4 sts, {ch 3, block of 4 beads ch 3, join at the block of 4 beads made in previous rou,nd} 4 times, ch3, block of 4 beads, ch3] 8 times, cl. (5 blocks of 4 beads)

Crochet Curtain Holder 2, Home Decor, Floral Curtain Holder

Hi, This is another design for Curtain Holder. Actually Yellow color suits more on those curtain at my home.
For this I use 3.5 mm and 1.75 mm. Yarns are also different. Pink and Green are Vardhaman Millenium and Yellow Vardhaman Brilon which is thin yarn.
PATTERN: Start with green yarn.
R1: dc14 in magic loop, cl BO.
Join pink yarn at any gap between two dcs.
R2: dc1 in each gap between two dcs, cl. (First dc means ch3) (14)
R3: Sl st in next gap between 2 dcs. Same as R2. (14)
R4: Sl st in next gap. dc2 in each gap, cl (28)
R5: [dc5 in gap (first dc is ch3), skip 2 gaps and sc in next, skip 2 gaps] 7 times, cl.

Now for Pollen, let us make 22-23 chs by yellow thin yarn. Then make 3-4 knots at one end. Make such 3 pollens. Sew them at centre of the flower as shown. For stiffness of pollen I applied fabric fevicol to these pollen so that after drying, pollen will make stiff.
Make 3 flowers. One of them I made with double yarn.
Now for stem join green yarn at the bottom of the flower means at the centre of R1.
Make chs 20+13.
Leaf: Make sl st in 12 chs from second ch. Then work next row in BACK LOOP.
R1: sc1, hdc1, dc8, hdc1, sc1, ch2-picot, then from other side repeat means sc1, hdc1, dc8, hdc1, sc1,
sl st in first st on other side.
Again make chs 20, sl st in 19 chs. Then make second leaf for which make 13 chs, 12 sl st and leaf as above.

Lastly sl st 20 in initial 20 chs.
Then take the working loop inside flower and BO.
For other flower make stem little small may be of 12+13 chs instead
 of 20+13 chs as first.

Join these two stems with each other by tapestry needle.
Then sew third flower at the top facing us.
STRIP: With green yarn make chs 53+1 as per need of your curtain.
R1: sc1 in each ch from second ch.
R2: ch3, dc1 in each st
R3: same as R2
R4: ch1, sc1 in each st.
Lastly make loop of 13 chs and join by sl st to other end.
Fix it on curtain by passing the loop through the third flower facing you. It will be the beautiful Curtain holder.

Crochet Curtain Holder 1, Home Decor, Floral Curtain Holder

Hello friends,

A simple Rose Flower Curtain Holder is made last week. It looks so pretty that as soon as I published the video many of my friends made it. It looks womderful in different shades of yarn.

I used Vardhaman Millenium yarn and 3.5 mm hook. It's weight is 20 gm and width 6".

PATTERN: Make chs 130 + 1.

R1: From second ch make sc 1 in each st (130)

R2: ch5 turn, [ skip 4 sts,  (dc1, ch4, dc1) V in next st] rep till end.

R3: [dc3 in ch4-sp of V, join by sc in the joining of two Vs] repeat till last 8 Vs remain.

I have 18 yellow 10dc petals. and skip 8 Vs unworked with yellow.

Join Green yarn at the joint of next V, in next ch4-sp of V make ch1, sc1 there,

(dc3, tr2, db tr2, ch3-picot by sl st, db tr 2, tr2, dc3, join by sc1 at the joint of two Vs) rep 8 times, BO.

Now the important thing is to wrap it properly, start with yellow end as shown in the video below so that all 8 green leans should make the last round.

From back side it will look as,

Use tapestry needle to fix them from bottom.

Then I just made chs 70 by green yarn and tie them to curtain, it looks amazing. If you want you can decorate it more by tassels of by beads.
