Crochet Mobile Bag with Two Compartments

 

Hi,

I again made one mobile bag with two compartments. It's so simple and I loved it very much. You can make it by any left over yarn. 

Length of this bag is 7.2" width 4.7" and weight 50 gm. Shading yarn 42 gm and plain pink 8 gm. The yarn I used is Ganga Spectrum and hook 3.5 mm.

PATTERN: Make chs 56 (must be even). Make  1 additional ch

R1: sc1 in each ch from second ch. (56)

R2: ch1, sc1 in each st (56)

Repeat R2 till the height is 4.5" to 4.7".

After that, work only 28 sts till the height is 9". 

Now let's make a belt.

BELT: Make chs 56. Make sc 1 in each ch from second, ch1, turn, sc1 in each st, BO with yarn end 7"-8". Use this yarn to sew the belt properly by tapestry needle.

Now fold the long side to half then remaining part to get two compartments. For detail watch the video below. Then sew two sides.

 Then let's make flap.

FLAP: On back side place marker keeping 14 sts on both sides. Then skip 2 sts on one side of marker and join plain pink yarn at that st. dc7 at marker's stitch. Skip 2 sts on other side of marker by sl st.

R2: ch3, skip 3 sts and join by sl st. (ch1, tr1 in dc-st) rep 7 times, ch1, join by sl st skipping 3 sts on other side.

R3: ch3, skip 2 sts, sl st in next, ch1 turn, (3dc-puff in the gap between two trs, ch2) rep till end, ch1, skip 2 sts, sl st in next.

R4: ch3, skip 2 sts, sl st in next, (dc3) in each ch2-sp, skip 2 sts, sl st in next.

R5: ch1 turn, [sc1 in 2 sts, in next st(sc1, ch3-picot, sc1)] 4 times, [sc1 in 2 sts, in next st(sc1, ch5-picot, sc1)], [sc1 in 2 sts, in next st(sc1, ch3-picot, sc1)] 4 times, skip 1 st, join by sl st. BO.

Then make a puff flower and sew it as a Latkan.
