Beautiful Crochet Hair Band for Your Princess

How are you all? Hope happily working on your running crochet project.

Here I planed to make a baby frock with pocket and for the pocket I used rose granny square. I also made Rose hair band matching to that frock. So first let's see how to make this Rose hair band. I had already made ( on my youtube channel Kalopasak number of different types of roses.

These seven different types of roses and we have videos of all, you can find them on my youtube channel Kalopasak. We use them in different items. 

Two more types of making rose is for border which I explained in these two videos.

This last one border I have used in my baby frock matching to this hair band.

The Rose flower I am making here is very similar to the rose flower number 3 (two pink flowers only smaller in size). The hair band is 11" long + two cords each of length 5". It's width is 1.2". It needs 13 gm yarn which is very thin (Aqua 8 gm and pink 5 gm). Yarn used The Women's Institue Soft and Silky yarn from London.

BELT: with Aqua color,

R1: chs 9, sc1 in each ch starting from second.

R2: ch1 turn (as shown in video), sc1 in each st

Repeat R2 till the length is 9". Then,

R1: ch1 turn, 2sctog, sc4, 2sctog (6)

R2: ch1 turn, sc1 in 6 sts

R3: ch1 turn, 2sctog, sc2, 2sctog (4)

R4: ch1 turn, sc1 in 4 sts

R5: ch1 turn, (2sctog) 2 times

R6: ch1 turn, sc1 in 2 sts

R7: ch1 turn, 2sctog. 

Make cord of chs 30 then 4dc-puff at end.

Similarly finish other edge also.

FLOWER: With pink,

R1: in magic loop, dc 16, cl.

R2: ch1, sc1 in same st, (ch3, skip 1 st, sc1 in next) repeat till end, cl (we have eight ch3-spaces).

R3: sl st in next ch3-sp, (dc6 in ch3-sp, sc1 in next ch3-sp) 4 times, cl.

R4: work this row on back side. ch2, sc 1 in sc-st from back side, (ch4, sc in next sc-st) rep till end, cl (we have eight ch4-spaces).

R5: Let's think that petal in this round should be in between two petals of previous petals in R3, accordingly make sl st and (dc8 in ch4-sp, sc1 in next ch4-sp) 4 times, cl.

R6: work on back side. Ch2, sc on sc-st on back side. (ch4, sc1 on next sc-st) rep till end, cl. (eight ch4-spaces)

R7: Now we are making petals in each ch4-sp, so no need to see that new petal should be in between old 2 petals. sl st in ch4-sp, [ch1, dc8, ch1, sl st in same ch4-sp, sl st in next ch4-sp] 8 times, cl. B O.

Then sew or glue the rose on belt at proper place.

Beautiful belt is complete.
