Crochet Bird Rakhi

 

Hi,

This is another pattern of Rakhi, "Bird Rakhi". I hope that you will like it to make and sell as many as you can.

Yarn 4 ply, hook 1.75 mm. Length of bird 2".

R1: Make ch2, sc 10 in first ch,

R2: sc2 in first st, (place marker in the first st), sc1 in second st,

 (hdc1, dc1) in third st, (dc2) in 4th st, (dc2) in 5th st,

(sc2) in 6th st, 

dc1 in 7th st, (tr2) in 8th st (tr: YO 2 times), (db tr 2) in 9th st, 

(db tr means YO 3 times) (db tr1, tr tr1) in 10th st (tr tr means YO 4 times), 

remove marker and work (tr tr1, Qr tr1) in that st (qr tr means YO 5 times), 

Now make Tail of Bird: ch5, skip 2 chs, hdc1 in next, sc1 in next, sl st (like picot).

Now make sl sts 5 along qr tr st,

then sl sts along all next sts till starting of tail. Sl st along tail ch1-picot at last then BO.

Make cord on both sides. Cord of chs 35-40 and 3dc-puff at last.

Beak: Join red yarn properly for Beak. Make ch1, sc1 there, BO.

Sew black bead as eye or make embroidery for eye.
