Doily, Tablemat or Plate Decor

Friends, 

Here is the beautiful pattern of Doily. Actally I made it as one of the Dinner set Plate Decor. The following video shows other three plate decors in the dinner set.

Patterns of the remaining three shown in this video will be given shortly. 

I use Vardhamaan Millenium yarn and 3.5 mm hook for this. Its inner diameter is 14" and with flowers it's diameter is 19". It's weight is 70 gm only. So it's a best Gift item.

Pattern: R1: with white make (dc 1, ch2) 12 times in a magic loop, cl. Sl st in ch1-sp.

R2: (dc2 in ch1-sp, ch1) 12 times, cl. Sl st till ch1-sp.

R3: (dc3 in ch1-sp, ch1) 12 times, cl. Sl st till ch1-sp.

R4: [(dc2, ch1, dc2) in ch1-sp. ch1] 12 times, cl. Sl st till ch1-sp.

R5: (dc2 in ch1-sp, ch1) 24 times, cl., Sl st till ch1-sp.

R6: (dc3 in ch1-sp, ch1) 24 times, cl. Sl st till ch1-sp.

R7: Same as R6.

R8: [(dc2, ch1, dc2) in ch1-sp. ch1] 24 times, cl. Sl st till ch1-sp.

R9: (dc1, ch1, dc1) in each ch1-sp (V made), cl. BO.

Join green yarn at any ch1-sp.

R10: ch1, sc 1 in each  ch1-sp, sc 1 in each dc-st.

R11: ch1, sc1, (ch5, skip 3 sts, sc1 next) rep till end, cl (36 ch5-sp). Sl st  2 in next ch5-sp.

R12: sc1, (ch6, sc 1 in next ch5-sp) rep till end, cl.

R13: and R14: same as R12.

R15: (sc1, ch4, sc 1 in next ch5-sp)  rep till end, cl.

R16: dc6 in each ch4-sp of R15.

Place marker after each four group of dc6. We shall make flowers at these places, Join brown yarn at the centre of 6dc group previous to marker (i.e. in between 3rd and 4th dc)

FLOWER: R1: Make dc9 at marker's place, sl st 1 at the mid as on right, BO. 

Now join yellow yarn at the first brown st on right.

PETAL: R2: Make chs 10, starting from 3rd ch make, (hdc 2, dc3, hdc2, sl st at the same st. Then sl st in next brown dc-st. Repeat to get next petal.

Similarly make 9 petals. Then we make next row to keep the petals straight and not get folded.

R3: At 5 th st of green join yellow yarn, make sl st on 5th st of first petal. (ch3, join by sl st to the 4 th st of next petal on back side of the petal) repeat for all petals. Lastly ch3 and join to the 5th green st as initially joined.

There will be 9 such flowers. Finally the Doily will look as the top most photo here.
