Crochet Baby Set: Bonnet, Cap

How are you? hope happy in crocheting. 

In my last post I have given the pattern for baby frock. This is Baby cap in that set.

Baby Cap Bonnet Type

R1: In a magic loop make, dc12, cl (12 sts) 

Note always that first dc means ch3. 

R2: (dc2) in each of the 12 sts, cl (24) 

R3: [dc1, (dc2) in next] 12 times, cl. (36) 

R4: [ dc1 in 2 sts, (dc2) in next] 12 times, cl. (48) 

R5: [dc1 in 3 sts, (dc2) in next] 12 times, cl (60) 

R6: [ dc1 in 4 sts, (dc2) in next] 12 times, cl) 72) 

R7: [dc1 in 5 sts, (dc2) in next] 12 times, cl. (84) 

R8: ch3, [skip 2 sts, shell in next, (shell means (dc2, ch1, dc2) in same st),

Skip 2 sts, dc1 in next] rep till last 12 sts remain. (12 shells made)

R9: (WS) ch3 turn, [shell on shell, bpdc on dc] rep till end.

R10: (RS) ch3, turn, [shell on shell, fpdc on previous row bpdc] rep till end,

Repeat rows 9 and 10 till the required length (may be 4.5” for this size),

If you want you can add one row with white colour.

BORDER:

R1: Join white yarn at first dc so as to work on RS make sc 1 there, (dc7 in

ch1-sp of shell, fpsc on fpdc-st) rep till end, lastly sc in last st.

R2: Join dark pink at first st to work on RS, sc there, (sc1 in each dc-st, fpsc on sc-st)

 rep till end, lastly sc1.

SIDE ROW: With pink yarn make dc 2 in each dc-space, on both sides and dc 1 in

each st of the middle portion.
