This simple but cute doily I made for my friend as a gift. It is very simple to make but very beautiful and I hope that she will live it.
I use Vardhamaan 4 ply yarn and 3.5 mm hook.
Its diameter is 21" and weight is 130 gm. You can make it in two colours or even in one colour.

Pattern: R1: In a magic loop
make (dc1, ch2) 12 times, cl Note that first dc
is always ch3.

R3: [skip first 2 dcs, dc1 on next 1 st (out of 3 dcs in above round), dc3 in ch1-sp, (total 4 dcs), ch1]
12 times, cl.
R5: [ skip 2 dcs, dc1 on remaining dcs, dc3 in ch1-sp, (total 6 dcs), ch1] 12 times, cl.
R7: same as R5: ( it will be dcs8, ch1)
R8: same as R5: (it will be dcs9, ch1)
Thus after R13: we will have (dcs 14, ch1) 12 times.
R1: [(dc1, ch4, dc1) (V made), skip 1 st, sc1 in next, (ch3, skip 1 st, sc1 in next) 3 times, skip 1 st]
rep till end, cl
There are 18 Vs made.
R3: ch6, sc1 in4 th ch from hook, [(dc on dc, ch3, sc1 in gap to form picot) till last dc (out of 9 dcs
in previous round), dc on last dc, sc1 in next ch3-sp, (ch3, sc1 in next ch3-sp) 2 times] rep till end, cl. BO.
Join wooden colour yarn at first dc in previous round.
R4: [bpdc1 on first dc, ch3, bpdc1 on 3rd dc ch3, fpdc1 on 5th dc, ch3, fpsc 1 on 7th dc,
ch3, fpdc 1 on 9th dc] rep 18 times, cl by sl st in second ch.
Note that very first fpdc means fpsc1, ch2.
R5: sl st in first ch3-sp, [(sc1 in ch3-sp, ch3) 3 times, sc1 in last ch3-sp,
make V in next gap (between last bpdc of fans and first fpdc of next fan)] rep till end, cl.
R6: same as R2 above.
Join white yarn at first dc.
R8: same as R4
R9: same as R5
R10: same as R2
R11: same as R3.
