Beautiful Crochet Chafa Flowers

Hello friends,
This week I made two types of flowers, Chafa (Champaca) and Sonchafa (Kanak Champaca or Golden Champaca). In India these flowers are used in religeous ceremonies. Kanak Champaca or Golden Champaca flowers are used for making Joy perfume.
For these flowers I used 4 ply wool in Orange (O), Light Yellow (Y) and White (W) and 1.75 mm crochet hook.
Pattern: ch 7 with white and last chain with orange.

R1: With Orange make sc1 in second ch, hdc 2 in next, fig 2, with Y make dc2, in next ch make (dc 1 in Y and tr 1 with W), fig 3, (tr1, dc 1) in next, dc 1 in next, hdc 2 in corner ch. See fig 4. Similar stitches on other side in reverse order, means dc 1 in next, (dc1, tr 1) in next, (tr1, dc1 by Y) in next, dc 2 in next by Y, hdc 2 in next with O, lastly sc 1 in last st. Fig 5.
R2: Sl st 1 in 3 sts by O, sc 1 in

each of the next 3 sts by Y, with W yarn sc 1 in each of next 2 sts, sc2 in next, sc 1 in each of the next 3 sts, sc2 in next, sc 1 in next 2 sts, with Y sc 1 in 3 sts, with O sl st in last 3 sts, sc 1 in the first orange st on other side, bind off. Fig 6.
Make such 5 petals.
Sew two of them with yellow yarn keeping the petals slightly over lapping as in fig 7.Then sew all 5 petals as in fig8.

Finally sew last petal with the first one as in fig 9. The beautiful flower is ready here fig 10.
Insert green paper wrapped wire in the centre of flower. Then on back side apply gum and wrap yellow yarn over the bottom of the flower and wire, wait to dry it. It will look as in fig 11.
