Hello friends,
Here is one more simple design for Shela. The shela which I posted in previous post seems to be difficult, so this design is made just for beginners.
It's length 16", width 4.5" and weight 40 gm. I use Vardhamaan Millenium yarn, hook 3.5 mm and 50 beads.
Pattern: Make chains till the length is 15'-16'.
I made 85+3 chs.
R1: dc 1 in each ch starting from 4th ch (85)
R2: ch1, sc 1 in each st
R3: ch3 turn, dc1 in each st
R4: same as R2
R5: same as R3.
R6: ch1, sc1 in same st, ( move one bead, skip that st, sc1 in next) rep till end, sc 1 in last.
R7: same as R3
R8: same as R2
R9: same as R3
R10: same as R2
R11: same as R3.
Make sl sts along sc-row by Zari chord.before and after beads row.
Make sc border on all four sides by Zari chord.
Sew lace on both ends.
The following video with English subtitles may help you.
ETC: Enjoy the Creativity.
