New year is here and one of the Indian festival in this month is Sankranti.
Yarn Vardhamaan Millenium, hook 3.5 mm
Length 6”, Breadth 4”and weight 32 gm.
Make chs 30
R1: dc1 in 6th st, (ch1, skip 1 st, dc1 in next) rep till end.
13 widows made.
R2: (dc1 on dc-st, ch1) rep till end.
Repeat this row till there are20 rows of 13 windows.
Make sc border on all 4 sides with sc3 at corner. Approximately 40 scs on height side.
At this stage also you can have contrast colour linen and fold it as shown to form a small bag / coin bag.
Join blue yarn at lower end st, Keep stitch on the hook on right side and yarn on wrong side.
Make ch3 on each dc-part till upper end. Repeat this with dark blue yarn and so on.
Complete this throughout and hide the yarn ends properly.
Fold it as above and sew the two sides.
BELT: with double thread make chs 41. Make sc1 in each back bump of the st. Sew the belt properly.
Then either apply pompom or Latkan, the beautiful coin bag is ready.
