For the big festival in India Diwali or Christmas I made two Door Decor or Home Decor, Bandhanwal or TORAN. Generally in India people use to hang this at door, thinking behind it is just to welcome guest or to increase the positivity of coming person. You may read,

Before this also I have number of posts making Toran. This one first time I made with granny squares.
I used Vardhamaan Millenium 4 ply, hook 3.5 mm It’s length 39” and weight 125 gm.
PATTERN:
Granny Square:
R1: with white in a
magic loop, (dc3, ch2) 4 times, cl, BO.
Note first dc means ch3.
Join green yarn at ch2-sp.
R2: [(dc3, ch2, dc3)called
shell in ch2-sp, ch1] 4 times, cl, BO.
R3:[dc3, ch1, shell in
ch2-sp of shell, ch1] 4 times, cl, BO.
R1: dc 1 in each dc-st, dc 1 in ch1-sp and dc 1 on both sides of corner joint. Then at edge part make
Place marker after one
granny and then after every 2 grannies, symmetrically at last 1 granny will
remain.
R2: ch1, sc 1 in each st
till 5 sts to marker (9sc made), [ch3, skip 2 sts, dc 1 in next 6 sts, ch3,
skip 2 sts, sc 1 in 16 sts] rep till end, lastly sc 1 in 9 sts (instead of 16).
R7: ch1 turn, sc 1 in 4
sts, skip last st, [ch3, shell on first shell, ch3, dc 1 on second ch of ch3-sp
(here we increase but in next two ch3-sp we don’t) ch3, dc on dc, ch3, dc on
dc, ch3, shell on shell, ch3, skipping first and last sc-st, make sc on each st
in between] rep, lastly sc1 in each 4 sts.
Join green yarn at the
starting st on side edge.
R1: ch1, sc1 in each st of vertical side, (sc1, hdc1, sc1) at corner, sc1 in each st on upper side, (sc1, hdc1, sc1) at corner, sc1 in each st of vertical side,
sc1 in 3 sts of lower side, [in each ch3-sp till central puff, make (sc2, ch4-picot, sc2) then at centre make three petals as {puff1, ch3, sc in ch2-sp, (ch3, puff, ch3, join in ch2-sp by sc) 2 times} then on other side again in each ch3-sp make (sc2, ch4-picot, sc2)After the border of 5 gaps join yellow puff lines of two pendants by sc] rep till end at last sl st and close, BO.
