Hello friends,
This one is another Drawstring bag for ritual functions in India for receiving OTI. The first Oti bag has nice experience that is good responce from viewers, so I made this one. For this bag I kept the opening little bigger because many times, OTI is offered with SHAHAL and not just usual coconut. See the difference in figure.
It is very simple to make. Just the base and then go on doing double crochets except the leaves border of two rounds and those too rounds are also not very difficult.
Let's see the pattern.
I used Loop and Thread yarn with 3.5 mm hook. For any yarn here (in USA) the needle is reccomented on it's wrapper which is 5mm etc but still I use 3.5 mm because the size should not vary much when my subscribers in India make it with Vardhamaan yarn.

Then make two cords of chs 100. Pass them through ch1-spaces, one from left to right and other from right to left.
Now we shall make two small balls instead of pompom.

Cut the yarn with 6" yarn end. Using tapestry needle sew them.
Attach these balls to the cord ends by sewing with tapestry needle.
