Crochet Jewelry Part 4: Waki, Armlet,

 

Hello friends,

How are you all? Hope enjoying Crochet. My next item in this jewelry set is Armlet, in Marathi we call Waki or Bajuband. Agagin in same yarn Green Vardhaman Dropill and hook 1.75 mm. Moreover I need 18 beads medium size.

PATTERN: We need multiple of 6 plus 1 stitches. So make chs 55.

R1: ch1, sc1 in each st from second. (55). Cut the yarn and join to work on right side.

R2: ch4 (dc1+1) turn, skip one st, (3dc-puff, ch2, skip 2 sts) rep till end, lastly skip 1 st, dc1 in last st. (we have 18 puffs)

R3: ch1 turn, sc1 in first and last ch1-sp, sc3 in each ch2-sp. Again we have 55 sts.

R4: dc1, ch1 (ch4 for first), skip 1 st, dc1 in next, insert a bead fix it by ch1, skip 1 st, dc1 in next, ch4, join by sl st in the st before bead. We have one ch4-sp, in ch4-sp make (ch2, dc2, tr2, db tr 1, ch1-picot, tr2, dc2, ch2, sl st), (ch1, skip 1 st, dc 1 in next) 2 times, ch1] rep till end.

Then make one more piece.

CORD: Join yarn at one end of Waki, ch6, tr tr 1 on opposite edge of width side, chs 20, lastly 4dc-puff at end, cl, BO.

Similarly make cord on another side of the armlet. Then complete other.
