Crochet Mobile Bag, Make in Any Size, Sankranti Gift

 

Hello friends,

This is the next bag in this series. It measures 8" high and 7.5" wide so that you can easily keep Mobile, i-pod, some cards and coins in that. For bigger size you can increase one round of base and height for 1". This is the only bag which I made with side base.

I hope you will like it to make. Yarn Red Heart and Loop and thread. Hook 3.5 mm.

PATTERN: We need multiple of 3 plus 1 ch to start. Here I start with 19 chs+ 3 chs as first dc.

R1: dc1 in each ch from 4th., dc6 in last ch, dc1 in ech ch from other side, dc5 in last (since one is already made) so that there are 6 dcs on both end sts and 18 dcs on both sides. (18+6+18+6 = 48). Sl st in next.

R2: [dc1 in 18 sts, (dc2 in 6 sts)] 2 times, cl. (18+12+18+12= 60 sts)

R3: dc1 in back loop of each st, cl. (60).

Join green yarn at first st out of 18.

R4:[(2dctog, ch2, 2dctog) shell in one st, skip 2 sts] rep till end, cl. (20 shells). BO.

Join red yarn in ch2-sp of shell.

R5: [(3dc-puff, ch2) 3 times, remove hook from loop, insert in first puff and pass the working loop, ch3] 20 times, cl. BO.

Join original color in ch3-sp.

R6: dc3 in each ch3-sp, cl (60).

R7: dc1 in each st, cl (60)

Repeat R7 till the required height of the bag. 

For Flap: Considering base place marker at 30 sts apart.

Row 1: 2dctog, dc1 in 26 sts, 2dctog. (28)

R2: 3dctog, dc22, 3dctog (24)

R3: 2 decrease, means as R1. (22)

R4: 4 decrease means as R2. (18)

R5: same as R1, two decrease. (16)

R6: same as R2 means 4 decrease. (12)

R7: as R5 (10)

R8: as R6 (6 sts) BO.

Attach yarn at starting of R1.

Border: sc2 in each dc-sp, sc1 in 6 sts, sc2 in each dc-sp, BO.

Then we make flower stems and flower on this flap as shown. Stem by sl st with green and rose as,

[(3dc-puff, ch2) 4 times, make it's popcorn means remove hook from loop, insert in first puff and pass the working loop, then (sl st in ch2-sp, ch3, sc in same space) 4 times, cl. BO.

BELT: (ch2, 4dc-puff in second ch) rep this till the requiered length of belt. Sew properly by tapestry needle.

Crochet Small Bag with One Granny Square, Make in Any Size, Sankranti Special Sale As Many As You Can

Happy Sankranti to all my friends.  In the series of small bags for Sankranti Gift, this is the next one. This is very very simple bag made with only one granny square. This is just for beginners. It is made with only one granny square.

It's 5" x 5", even you can keep mobile in that. I take all left over yarns for this.

PATTERN: R1: In a magic loop make (dc3, ch2) 4 times, cl. sl st till ch2-sp.

R2: [(dc3, ch2, dc3) shell in ch2-sp, ch1] 4 times, cl. Sl st till ch2-sp.

R3: [shell on shell, ch1, dc3 in ch1-sp, ch1] 4 times, cl. Join new color at ch2-sp.

R4: [Shell on shell, ch1, (dc3 in ch1-so, ch1) 2 times, ch1] 4 times, cl. Join new color at ch2-sp.

R5: [Shell on shell, ch1, (dc3 in ch1-so, ch1) 3 times, ch1] 4 times, cl. Join new color at ch2-sp.

R6: [Shell on shell, ch1, (dc3 in ch1-so, ch1) 4 times, ch1] 4 times, cl. Join new color at ch2-sp.

R7: [Shell on shell, ch1, (dc3 in ch1-so, ch1) 5 times, ch1] 4 times, cl.

If the length of side is 7" then stop, otherwise make one more round. For bigger size you can have 2-3 more rounds as previous rounds.

R8: New color, [(sc2, ch2, sc2) at corner, sc 1 in each st] 4 times, cl.

Now fold as shown in video and seq either by tapestry needle or by single crochet taking one thread of both sides to be sewed. We sew by scs.

Sew two oblique sides. Then make loop of chs 8 or 10 as per the size of your show button. Also make handle of 50 chs at one corner. 

The beautiful Coin Bag or Keychain is ready.

Here is the next Small Bag I made for Sankranti. Many of my friends sale such bags on order for      Sankranti Festival as a Gift (Samkranti Vaan). So I made various designs in this size. This is one more in that series. It is very beautiful but simple, even beginners can make it.

Though I use Thick yarns for that, you can use Vardhman Millenium yarn. Hook used is 3.5 mm. It's length is 5" and width is 4". It's weight is 20 gm. I also made Mobile cover with the same design which has 40 gm weight.

PATTERN: With white yarn make a ring of chs 45. For bigger or smaller make any chs multiple of 3.

R1: dc 1 in each ch, cl (45). Join green yarn at first st.

R2: [(dc1, ch2, dc1) V in one st, skip 2 sts] rep till end, cl.

Join yellow yarn at any ch2-sp of V.

R3: [5dc-popcorn in ch2-sp, ch2] rep till end, cl.

R4: with white, make dc 3 in each yellow ch2-sp, cl. (45)

R5, R6, R7, R8: dc1 in each st, cl (45).

Cover / Lead of Bag: R1: dc1 in 21 sts,

R2, R3: same as R1.

Join green yarn at first st of  R1 of cover.

Border: ch1, (sc2 in dc-row sp) 3 times, sc1 in each of the 21 sts, (sc2 in dc-row sp) 3 times, BO.

Belt: Join white yarn at last st of R8. Make chs 4, dc1 in first ch, (ch3, dc1 in 2 threads as shown in video) 15 times, cl. BO.

Sew other end of belt properly by tapestry needle. 

Lastly sew the base by single crochets taking both sts of base.

The Mobile bag shown in first photo is also made with ring of 45 chs. Only height is increased as per need. Moreover it's belt is made as Romanian Cord.

Crochet Small Bag Sunflower Design, Pouch, Keychain cum Bag for Sankranti

 

Hello friends,

This is my new bag which looks very beautiful and it is very simple to make. You can surely make 5-6 bags in different (not necessarili yellow, it looks cute in various colors too) colors and gift them to your close friends.

It's size 4.5" from inside and 7.5" from outside. it's weight is 25-30 gm with 3.5 mm hook. This is 16 petal flower, if you want smaller, you can make only 3 brown rounds and have one with 12 petals.

PATTERN: With brown colormake

R1: dc 12 in magic loop, cl (12). First dc is always ch3.

R2: dc2 in each st, cl (24).

R3: (dc1 in one st, dc2 in next) 12 times, cl (36).

R4: (dc1 in 2 sts, dc2 in next) 12 times, cl (48). 

Now here we shall make ch3-loop for the handle to pass from that. So make ch3, skip 1 st and join in back loop of next st, BO.

Join yellow yarn at the st next to the ch3-loop.

R5: ch1, sc1 in same st, sc1 in 1 sts ahead, [(sc1, ch5, sc1) in next st, sc1 in 2 sts, in next st] rep till end, cl. (16 ch5-loops are made)

R6: [in next ch5-loop (dc6 , ch2-picot by sl st, dc6 ) sl st in the space between middle two scs] rep 16 times, cl, BO.

Also make one flat circle as R1 to R4 by brown yarn.

After R4 make chs 50 and join it by sc in the same st. 

This will be our locking system and loop to attach key (if you use it as a keychain). Cut the yarn keeping 15" yarn end.

Now hold the two pieces so that the ch50-handle's stitch and ch3-loop of flower should be against each other. Now skip 6 sts on both sides of handle unsewed and sew the remaining part by tapestry needle.

For which you have to pass the yarn from 50chs-loop to 6 sts ahead and then start sewing.

The beautiful bag is ready.
