Crochet Christmas Special Candle Decorator, Candle Holder, Flower Pot Mat, Samai Rangoli

Hello friends,

It's December, everyone is excited about Christmas and New Year celebration. Keeping this in mind, I made this Crochet Candle Decorator. It's beautiful and I hope that everybody like it. Though I made it as candle holder but you can use it for keeping flower pot / vase or for folding Samai or, Diya as shown in first photo.

I used Vardhaman Millenium yarn and 2.5 mm hook.

PATTERN: First let's make flowers with pink yarn.

R1: In a magic loop make dc24, cl.

R2: sl st in 12 sts,

ch1, thread one bead by 0.5 mm hook,

sl st in remaining 12 sts.cl. BO.

Make such 6 petals for one flower.
We shall make 24 petals for 4 flowers.

Now while hiding yarn ends of each petal, sew the petals in 3 sts to give better shape to the petal.

Then join 6 petals or thread them to make a flower. Also join each petal with the adjecent petal by 3        sts.

Lastly attach a big bead at the centre of the flower.

if you want to make Samai rangoli with these flowers (which will be horizontal circle with these flowers then you have to make 6 flowers).
Now we shall make the central part. With green yarn make a ring of chs 48.
R1: ch1, sc1 in each st, cl. (48)
R2: dc1 in each st, cl. (48)
Repeat R1 and R2 till the height is 2.3"-2.5". (I need 7 rounds for that). Then BO green yarn.
R8: Join zari cord at any st. ch1, (sc1 in 4 sts, ch3-picot by sl st) 12 times, cl, BO.

Then we work at the base of this. Again join zari cord at any st.

R1: ch1, hdc1 in each st, cl, BO (48)

R2: Join green yarn at any st,  (dc1 in 2 sts, dc2 in next) 16 times, cl (64)

R3: ch1. (sc1 in 11 sts, skip 2 sts, dc10 in next st, skip 2 sts) 4 times, cl.

R4: Sl st in first 2 sc-sts. [sc1 in 7 sc-sts, skip last 2 sts, ch1, (dc1 on dc-st, ch1) 10 times, skip first 2 sc-sts] 4 times, cl.

R5: Join pink yarn at third sc-st (skipping first 2 sc-sts), ch1, [sc1 in 3 sts, ch2, (3dctog in ch1-sp between first 2 dcs, ch2) 9 times, ch2] 4 times, cl, BO.

R6: with again green yarn, ch1, sc1 in the middle of the 3 pink sc-sts, [ch3, sc3 in ch2-sp between first and second 3dctog, 3hdc in next gap, (3dc in next ch2-sp) 4 times, hdc3 in next, sc3 in last ch2-sp between 3dctogs, ch3, sc1 on middle sc-st] 4 times, cl. BO.

R7: Join zari cord at green sc-st, sc1 there, [ch4, sc1 in 3 sc-sts, in next gap between 3scs and 3hdcs, make sc1, ch3-picot, sc1 in 3 hdc-sts and sc1 in next gap (between hdc3 and dc3), ch3-picot, sc1 in 3 dc-sts, sc1 in next gap, ch3-picot, sc3 on 3dc-sts, sc1 in gap, ch5-picot, sc1 in 3 dc-sts, sc1 in next gap, ch3-picot, sc1 in 3dc-sts, sc1 in gap, 3ch-picot, sc1 on 3 hdc-sts, sc1 in gap, ch3-picot, sc1 on 3 sc-sts, ch4, sc1 in the middle green sc-st] 4 times, cl

Thus we make three ch3-picot then one ch5-picot and three ch3-picots in each part of border.

Lastly sew the four flowers with slant allignment as shown in video namely "Crochet Candle Decorator".

Crochet Saree Blouse Part 2, Size M, Make in Any Size

Hello friends,

I know that you are very much interested in the second part, so here it is.

In the first part we made body.

Now first we shall make button band along with buttonhole band and neck band.

Join yarn at the forst st of lower band.

R1: ch1, sc1 in each st, sc2 in each dc-row till the neck corner comes, (3sctog) there,

again sc1 in each st, at second corner also make (3sctog), other side in same manner.

R2: ch1, sc1 in back loop of each st. Place markers where we have to make buttonholes.

R3: Either make ch1 ,turn or tyrn as shown then no need os making ch1, sc1 in back loop of 1 st, ch2, skip 2 sts, continue sc1 in back loop of 8 sts, ch2, skip 2 sts,

continue like this and make 5 buttonholes, then sc1 in back loop till neck corner, (3sctog) in back loop,

sc1 in back loop till other corner, (3sctog), again sc1 in back loop till end.

R4: turn, sc1 in back loop of each st till buttonhole, sc1 in back loop of both chains, repeat for each buttonhole, remaining same as R3.

R5 and R6: sc 1 in back loop of each st.

Now let's make blouse sleeves. Make the sleeves length 8" and lower part of sleeves 6".
Make the sleeves in round. Join the yarn at lower under arm centre.
R1: ch1, sc1 in each st and sc2 in dc- row space, cl.
Place marker at sc-st where the shoulders are sewed, skip 3 sts on both sides and place 1 marker on both sides,
R2: ch3 (first dc), 2dctog, dc1 in each st, dc1 in each st till first marker (blue), ....
dc1 at the marker's place, ch2, skip 3 sts, (dc2, ch2, dc2) shell at next marker's place, ch2, skip 3 sts, dc 1in mext marker's place

and dc 1 ahead in each st till last 2 sts, 2dctog, cl.

R3: dc1, (2dctog), dc1 in each st till last dc at centre, ch2, shell on shell, ch3, dc 1 in each st, lastly (2dctog), cl.
In order to make lower length of sleeve less than upper length. we change here,
R4: ch1, sc 1 in 3 sts, hdc 1 in 2 sts, dc1 till centre, ch2, shell on shell, ch2, dc 1 in each st till last 4 sts, hdc1 in 2 sts, sc1 in 2 sts, cl.
R5: same as R4.
R6: Decrease row as R3.
R7 and R8: again as R4 and R5.
Now we measure the armholw, it is 6", so no need to decrease any more.
R9: dc1 in each st, ch2, shell on shell, ch2, dc1 in each st, cl.
Repeat R9 till the length of the sleeve 8".
Last Round: dc1 in each st till central design, ch3, sc1 in ch2-sp of shell, ch3, dc1 in each st, cl.
Border: Join yarn at under arm st.
R1: ch8,

sc1 in each ch starting from second, sl st in next st (from the st where we started chs) of sleeve,
R2: sl st in next st of sleeve, sc1 in back loop of each st (7), turn,
R3: sc1 in back loop of 7 sts, sl st in next st of sleeve,

Repeat R2 and R3 till the total sleeve is covered.
Sew the two ends by tapestry needle.
Similarly make other sleeve and it's border.
Sew proper buttons.
Saree blouse is ready.
