Beautiful Crochet Rose Bunch Part 1:

Hello,

Friends, for next Rose day you can have this beautiful rose bunch for your beloved. Not only for that but it will be the best gift ever for any person who is retiring or who is celebrating their anniversary.

Since I published my first youtube video of crochet,

all my friends requested me to make the video of these rose flowers. This is my very old creation and I have it's written pattern in my diary. But that is ofcourse some one else pattern, so I tried for some new pattern and that is here.

I used Ganga's Glowing Star yarn and 1.75 mm hook, created one flower (as usual as a trial), ofcourse it is very beautiful but it comes out little big (Photo below) and for this bunch I want smaller one.

So I made the final big flower, medium size flower and the bud by the hook 1 mm and that comes out to be perfect as per my requirment.

Also when I made petals with 1 mm hook at the the same time sepal of the bigger flower I have made by 1.75 mm hook, then it fits properly.

Pattern.

Small size petal: Make 4

In magic loop

R1: Ch1, sc5, cl. (5)

R2: ch1, sc2 in each st, cl (10)

R3: ch1, (sc1 in 1 st, sc2 in next) 5 times, cl. (15)

R4: ch1, (sc1 in 2 sts, sc2 in next) 5 times, cl. (20)

R5: ch1, (sc1 in 3 sts, sc2 in next) 5 times, cl (25)

R6: ch1, (sc1 in 4 sts, sc2 in next) 5 times, cl (30)

R7: ch1, sc1 in 11 sts, [hdc2, (hdc2) in next st] 2 times, hdc2, sc11, cl. (32)

R8: ch1, sc12, hdc1, (dc2) 8 times, sc12, cl (40).

Lastly ch3, dc2 in same st, BO.

Medium size petal: Make 3

R1 to R6 same as above.

R7: ch1, (sc1 in 5 sts, sc2 in next) 5 times, cl. (35)

R8: ch1, sc7, [(hdc2), hdc6] 3 times, sc7, cl (38)

R9: hdc 7, (dc2) 12 times, ch2-picot by sc, (dc2) 12 times, hdc7, cl.

ch4, dc3 in same st.

Big petal: Make 4

R1 to R7 as medium size petal.

R8: (sc1 in 6sts, sc2 next) 5 times, cl (40)

R9: ch2, hdc7, (hdc2) next, [hdc3, (hdc2) ] 6 times, hdc 8, cl (47)

R10: ch2, dc7, (dc2) 16 times, (dc2, ch2-picit by sc, dc1) in next, (dc2) 16 times, dc7, cl.

Rangoli Around Wooden Sitting Device (Paat) 3, Rectangular Lace Edging for Frock, Curtain etc

Hi,

This is the third Rangoli around the rectangular wooden sitting device.

I have used Red & White 4 ply yarn and 3.5 mm hook.

Size: 18" x 12"

Pattern: Make 51+84+51 chs by red.

R1: dc1 in 48 chs, (dc1, ch2, dc1) V made, dc1 in next 80 chs, V in next ch, dc1 in last 48 chs.

R2: (dc1, ch1, skip 1 st, dc1 in next) rep, 27 windows made, at corner (dc3, ch2, dc3), ch1, (dc1, ch1, skip 1 st, dc1 in next) rep 44 windows made, at corner (dc3, ch2, dc3), ch1, (dc 1, ch1 skip 1 st) rep till 27 windows.

R3: join white yarn, [sc2 in each ch 1 sp, at corner  sc1 on 2 dc-sts, (sc2, ch3, sc2) in ch2-sp at corner, sc1 in 2 dc-sts] rep till the end,

R4: same as R2, this time there will be 28 windows on width side, at corner (dc3, ch3, dc3), again (dc1, ch1, skip 1 st), on length side there will be 46 windows, on other side also 28 windows.

Now for our design we need multiple of 7 windows. Hence on length side we can have symmetrical design like 6 patterns + 4 windows extra which gives symmetry.

R5: Join pink yarn on first window, ch1, sc1 there, [dc9 in next window, skip 1 window, (sc 1 in next window, ch2) 3 times, sc 1 in next window, skip 1 window] rep till corner, at corner dc 11 in ch3-sp, then again skip 1 window, (sc 1 in next window, ch2) 3 times, sc 1 in next window, skip 1 window. Repeat

R6: Again join same colour in between first and second dc of first pattern to work on RS. [(dc1, ch1) 8 times, ch1, sc1 in ch2-sp, ch1] rep till corner. At corner only the change will be (dc1, ch1) 10 times.

R7: Join white yarn at first ch1-sp on RS.ch1, sc1, {[ch3, sc1 in space, sc1 in next ch1-sp] rep 3 times, sc1 in next sp, ch5-picot, again (sc1, ch3, sc1 in space, sc1 in next ch1-sp) 3 times, ch1, sc1 in ch2-sp, ch1} rep till centre. At centre in 3 gaps ch3-picot, in 4th gap ch5-picot, in 6th gap ch7-picot, again in 3 gaps ch3-picot. Thus 9 gaps.

If you look now there is bump at both corners from inside. So I need to do next round to hide those bumps.

R8: Work at base. Join white yarn at the first st to work on RS, sc1 in each gap between two sts. At corner, skip corner’s stitch and taking incomplete sc from the st before corner and the st after corner, make 2 sctog.

Hope you like this design, you can use it as rectangular lace for curtain, napkin or frock with rectangular neck.
