Small Size Muffler:
Fig 1

Hello friends,

This red colour Muffler I made for my grand daughter (Fig 1). The yarn used is 6 ply and it's final size is 7" x 50".
I started with 34 stitches for the width 7", then I simply worked Brioche stitch. I like this stitch and I hope that all my viewers should also know how to make Brioche stitch for that I made video in my channel which you can see below. Though it is in Marathi, it has English subtitles.
Fig 2

First let us make a sample and then actually start a muffler.

Brioche Stitch Sample:  Cast on even number of stitches.  Row 1 is Set-up row and it is,
R 1: (Yarn forward, slip 1 as if to purl, knit 1) repeat till end.
R 2: ( Yarn forward slip 1, K2tog) repeat till end.
Now repeat only row 2 till the required height is reached.

Fig 3
The pattern looks beautiful (fig 2) for muffler moreover it is stretchy.
Lastly bind off all sts.
Note: While binding off the sts, ka, next you can see pair of sts which we can treat as if one st, knit it and as usual pass first worked sssst over this.

Finally put tassels. The videos with English subtitles are shared for Brioche stitch and Tassels.

White Crochet Booties
Fig 1

Hello friends,
These booties are beautiful and you can make them in any size. Here they are made with 12 cm length. I made it in Red heart white yarn which is thick. I used 5 mm crochet hook for this.

Description: Measure the length of the boot, you want to make. If it is 12 cm as in fig 2 then, start with slip knot and make chains till the length is 12 cm. There are 18 chains, (See fig 3) add one more chain (ch)

Fig 2

Fig 3

R1: Single crochet 1 in each ch starting from second ch then ch 1 turn,
R2: Same as R1.
Repeat these rows till the height is 5 cm.
See fig 4.

Fig 4

Fig 5

Then work for only 9 sts from one end as row 1, till the further height is 4 cm. Fig 5.

Now cast on new 9 chains + 1ch (See fig 6)
Next row: sc 1 on each of 9 chs just made, then sc 1 on remaining 9 sts (18 sts), ch 1 turn,
Fig 6

Fig 7

Next row: sc 1 in each of 18 sts, ch 1 turn
Repeat previous row till the length is again 5 cm.
See fig 7.
Now U-shape is formed.

Thread the yarn is tapestry needle and pass through the base of that U-shape. Pull both the ends of the yarn to get all stitches as close as possible. Make a tight knot. See fig 8 and fig 9.
Fig 8

Fig 9

Then sew the bottom and the side. Fig 10. The boot is ready. Fig 11.
Fig 10

Fig 11

Fig 12

To decorate it now we make a small crochet flower.
Pink Flower: Take a pink yarn, I chose thin 4 ply yarn to get small size and suitable crochet hook 2.5 mm
Magic ring with 6 sc in that, close.
On each sc we make one petal.
Petal: ch3, 3 incomplete dc (means: YO insert in the st, YO get a st out, there will be 3 sts on hook, YO and pass through 2 sts out of 3), YO and pass through all, ch 3 and join at the sc of magic ring by slip st.
Make such petal on each sc of magic ring.
Sew the flower at proper place. See fig 12.
Make one more boot.
Beautiful booties are ready. Fig 1.

Beaded Crochet Purse
Fig 1
Hello friends,
Beautiful beads and crochet together! in India we may say "Ghee me shakkar" means one good thing is already there, other better thing added to that, so sweet!

This small money purse is just an example of that. It is beautiful eleventh hour gift or it may be 11th hour matching accessory  to our saree.

I started with slip knot and made 31 chains.
R 1: (RS): sc 1 on each st starting from the second ch.
R 2: (WS) Ch 3 turn, dc 1 on each st.
R3: Ch 1 turn, sc 1 on each ch
R 4: Ch 1 sc 1 on first st, (take the bead near the hook and work one sc in the next st, sc 1 in the next st) repeat till end. There will be 15 beads in a row. (Fig 2)
R 5: Ch 1 turn, sc 1 in each st.
Repeat R 4 and R 5 till the required height. Here I repeated it 9 more times.
Fig 2

Front side is done. Now on back side either you may have same bead rows or simple sc rows as I have done.
Fig 3
(Fig 3)

Now it remains to make a belt. Make 30 chains and dc 1 from the forth chain in each ch. Sew the belt by tapestry needle. Put lining and zip to it inside.

Your beautiful purse is ready. (Fig 1)

Fig 4

If you have any old cotton purse whose zip is in good condition then you can give a new look to it by making such beaded cover. Just as I have one purse, got in some international flight. I decided to renew it. (Fig 4)

Knitted Baby Wrap Dress 19, Kimono

Mother's Day Special Wrap Jacket:
Fig 1
 Hello friends,
Attachment is a emotional bond between any two person and that too when you think about your kids, it cannot be described in words. Since the birth of baby, baby-mother attachment bond is developing. Mother is always eager to hear from her child and what to say if momy hears the whispering of her child that "I Love Mom".

This Mother's Day Special Wrap jacket has same feelings. Imagine just your baby whispering that "I Love Mom".

This jacket starts with back side from bottom. The yarn I have selected is Baby Bee Soft Delight, Banana colour. It's really a nice yarn in 4 ply. I used UK 10 number knitting needles. It's final measurements are, length 9.5" and width 7.5".
Note: For better edge, always purl last st and slip first st of every row as if to knit.
Fig 2

Fig 3
Fig 5
Fig 4
Description:
Back: CO 48 sts by long tail Cast on method. Work Garter st till it measures 6". (Fig 2)
Then 12 sts are increased on both sides. (Fig 3)
Repeat this two more times (Fig 4). Then there will be 36+48+36=120 sts
Continue working Garter st for 2.5" more. (Fig 5)
Neck: Now next row,
K51, BO 18, K 51.
Then work only last 51 sts, place first 51 sts on stitch holder.

Then it will look as Fig 6. Knit these 51 sts, two more rows.
Fig 6
Now we shall increase 1 st every alternate row from neck side. For that from next row last 3 sts will be worked as Kfb, K1, P1 for every alternate row. Kfb means knit front and back. Continue this till the sts on the needle are 64 (13 increased). See fig 7.

Now go on BO 12 sts of sleeve in alternate row from wrist side, three times by the way 1 st increase on neck side continued..
Further go on increasing 1 st in alternate row from neck side till the sts are 48. (Fig 8)
Now no further increase on neck side only continue in Garter st till the height reached. Bind off.
Fig 7
Fig 8

Now place the 51 sts of other side on the needle and work 2 rows in Garter st.

Then again increase 1 st from neck side as the first part. Here only difference is Stockinette stitch enters. We work sleeve in Garter stitch and second front part in Stockinette st.
Next row: Wrong side: K 36, place marker, P till 3 sts remain, Kfb, K1, P1.
Next row (RS): Sl 1, K all sts.
Repeat above 2 rows till sts on the needle are 64. Again BO 12+12+12 of sleeve from wrist side.
Fig 9
It will look as in fig 9.
Next row (WR): Sl 1, P all till last 3 sts, Kfb, K1, P1.
Next row (RS): Sl 1, K all last st P.
Repeat these two rows till there are 48 sts on the needle then BO.

Sew the bottom of the sleeves and sides.

Make small cords 6" and attach from inside. Also another pair of cord with pom-pom or small flower at the end for front side.
Then make embroidery "I Love Mom", either all letters or Heart in place of the word Love as I have done. Your beautiful Wrap baby dress is ready. You can take the help of the video below, it has English subtitles.

Cute Crochet Cap - Bonnet Type
Hello friends,
Sorry again for a big gap. Here I made a bonnet type baby cap in crochet which is very good in fitting. The yarn I used is Baby Bee sweet delight in Celery colour. The yarn is really very good, being 4 ply, it's just like the Vardhamaan yarn generally people use in India. Hence I can use it for my You tube channel Kalopasak. Because otherwise the gauge changes and I cannot make it's video for my subscribers.

In USA I saw most of the yarns with recommended knitting needle 5 mm (as needed here) or more than that but here it is 4 mm and that's why I liked this yarn very much. You can see it's close up, it has no threads getting out, moreover it is smooth.

For this project I use 3 mm crochet hook.
Strip: Ch 8 +1
R 1: single crochet (sc) in each ch, ch 1 turn
R 2: sc in back loop of each st, ch 1 turn
R 3: and all rows as R 2 till the required length reached. I made 12", it;s width is 2" and there are 32 strips.
Fig 2

Fig 3
Fog 4
Then go on making sc along the length, two in each strip (63 sts) See fig 2.
R1: sc 1 in each st
Repeat R 1 till the length is 6" from bottom. See fig 3.
Fig 5
Then divide all 63 sts in three parts and work the middle part same as sc part. (Fig 4) Work till the height is equal to the 1/3 part in the beginning of this middle extension because we want to sew it later.
Fig 6

After sewing the two parts the bonnet will look like fig 6. Note that the sewing should be very smooth.

Then go on making double crochet 1 on the bottom part of this bonnet. This is row 1.
R2: (FPdc 1 on next dc, BPdc 1 on next) repeat till end.
R 3: FPdc on FPdc and BP dc on BP

Then make a cord of chains and pass through this bottom strip. Make two beautiful flowers for the end of this chord. I made small drop shapes (see fig 7) for these two ends of the cord. Also make a simple chain to pass.

Fig 7
Lastly I make two beautiful pom pom for the top edge and sew them as shown.
Fig 8
Fig 9

The beautiful baby bonnet is ready here see fig 8 and 9. It's side look is as in fig 10.
